Honeyback Harvester

Join the Honeyback Hive in Stormsong Valley with a bee pet, then feed jelly to the Nascent Harvester in the hive until it is Mature. It then offers the quest Leaving the Hive, which rewards the mount.

• The hive opened: summon the pet beside Barry at the Mildenhall Meadery flight master (69.2, 64.2), go to the hive and bring the Hivemother a Thin Jelly · about 0.25 h
• The Nascent Harvester fed to Mature: 10,000 friendship (3,000, then 7,000), which is 2,000 Thin Jelly or the same in Rich (worth 4) and Royal (worth 8) from the jelly deposits around Stormsong Valley · about 15 h
• Exalted with the Honeyback Hive: feeding the harvester gives 40,000 of the 42,000; the rest comes from Honey Smasher (500, once a day, at 61.4, 16.0) and the harvester events · about 1 h over 4 days

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Nothing is on a timer, so the jelly can be gathered in one stretch. At Revered, Barry sells Beeholder's Goggles, which show jelly deposits on the minimap. Wowhead's guide puts the first Thin Jelly at 63.2, 28.4 beside the hive and has maps of the jelly deposits and of the harvester events.

Jelly values by Wowhead's guide, which is what the amounts above come to:

• Thin: 20 reputation and 5 friendship
• Rich: 80 and 20
• Royal: 160 and 40

The four days for Exalted assume Honey Smasher alone; events and their quest items (750 each) shorten it. No source gives a jelly-per-hour rate, so the 15 hours are the weakest figure here.

Sources disagree on whether Exalted is itself required:

• the MMO-Champion guide: both Exalted and a Mature harvester
• Blizzard Watch: only the harvester has to be Mature
• Wowhead's guide (updated 2025): both, then a short quest chain ending in Leaving the Hive
• True Endgame's (2024): the two are reached together, since feeding the harvester is what gives the reputation
