Getting there
/way Stormsong Valley 59.2 69.4 - Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Boralus*

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight

Notes and sources
Alliance only: Storm's Wake is an Alliance faction. Sister Lilyana stands in the middle of Brennadam by the flight point; the coordinates are Wowhead's (59.2, 69.4) as read for the Stormsong Coastwatcher, and Wowhead's guide puts her at 59.2, 69.2.
The unlock, the time to Exalted and the place are taken from this guide's Stormsong Coastwatcher (checked in 2026), which has the same vendor and the same standing; the wiki's page for Sister Lilyana (edited 2025) lists both mounts at Exalted. Unlike the Coastwatcher, this mount carries no achievement requirement: Wowhead's vendor list attaches Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part Two to the Coastwatcher and nothing to the Dapple Gray.
On the price the sources disagree: the journal and Wowhead's tooltip say 10,000 gold; Wowhead's reputation guide, the wiki's page for the mount (edited 2025) and the wiki's vendor table say 12,500. Since only an Exalted character can buy and Exalted takes 20% off, 10,000 is most likely what is paid and 12,500 the list price; bring 12,500 to be safe. The same guide lists the Coastwatcher at 90,000, the journal's own figure for it, so the journal is not consistent about which price it shows.
The Coastwatcher's notes report that patch 12.1.5, dated 13 October 2026, makes Battle for Azeroth reputations, Storm's Wake among them, warband-wide; until then Exalted is needed on the buying character.
Wowhead's guide is of 2020 and speaks of level 120, the cap of the time, but the sources of reputation it lists are still the ones other guides name. It adds mission-table rewards of 150, the Darkmoon Faire's 10% buff and 50% more during the world quest bonus event. It is the one Wowhead page opened for this mount.
The item is Reins of the Dapple Gray; it binds when picked up and asks for level 10 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
