World quests open once the character is Friendly with all three Kul Tiras factions (Uniting Kul Tiras) · about 20 h over 2 weeks
- 10,000 gold
In all: about 21 h of play, spread over 2 weeks, 10,000 gold, starting from nothing.
Getting there
/way Drustvar 37.8 49 - Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Boralus*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Alliance only: the Order of Embers is an Alliance reputation, so a Horde character cannot buy this.
On the price the sources disagree: the journal, Wowhead and the wiki's page for the mount say 10,000 gold, while the wiki's pages for Quartermaster Alcorn and for the faction say 5,000. What the vendor shows today was not checked in the game.
Blizzard has announced that Battle for Azeroth reputations become Warband-wide in patch 12.1.5, reported for 13 October 2026, and Blizzard Watch's list names the Order of Embers. Until then Exalted is needed on the buying character. Blizzard had not said how standings on several characters are combined, so check once the patch is live.
The time to Exalted is a rough estimate, and wow.gg's per-quest amounts were not confirmed elsewhere (the wiki gives none).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
