How to get it

Crafted with Battle for Azeroth (Kul Tiran / Zandalari) Engineering from Schematic: Mecha-Mogul Mk2, a rare drop from Mogul Razdunk, the last boss of The MOTHERLODE!! on Mythic. Most of the parts come from the same dungeon: plating, servomotors and stabilizers salvaged from its mechs, the Mk1 Remote Activation Device from Razdunk, and the reactor bought inside for 30,000 gold.

Chance 1.09% once a week, so about 92 tries on average — Wowhead, for the schematic: 1,434 in 132,017 recorded Mythic loots of Mogul Razdunk. The count includes characters who are not engineers, so an engineer's chance is probably higher

Guide The Lazy Goldmaker: Luxury mounts: The Mecha-Mogul Mk2

Before you go

  • An engineer with Kul Tiran / Zandalari Engineering at 150 or more, the skill the schematic asks for · about 3 h
  • Effective Engineering skill of about 225-250 for the dungeon parts: crafted engineering goggles with their Azerite trait rings unlocked, plus the Azerite Inspir-A-Geneering Elixir that drops in the dungeon · about 2 h
  • 20 Azerite Forged Protection Plating, 20 Blast-Fired Electric Servomotors and 20 Crush Resistant Stabilizers: salvaged from mech corpses in Mythic MOTHERLODE!! and dropped by Mogul Razdunk · about 2 h
  • Mecha-Mogul Mk1 Remote Activation Device, from Mogul Razdunk at the high skill above
  • Barely Stable Azerite Reactor: 30,000 gold from Hobart Grapplehammer inside the dungeon, sold to engineers
  • 50 Platinum Ore and 100 Storm Silver Ore (mined in Kul Tiras and Zandalar) and 20 Expulsom (from scrapping Battle for Azeroth gear) · about 2 h

In all: about 9 h of play, 30,000 gold, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The chance is for the schematic, which binds when picked up, so the crafting character has to loot it. The boss is once a week, while the mechs can be salvaged more than once a week (comments). The time on the spot is a run straight to the last boss (an estimate).

Wowhead comments from 2026, the latest in patch 12.0.7, confirm it still drops; one player needed 37 Mythic kills, and one in 2019 needed 112. Whether Engineering skill affects the schematic's drop is disputed.

Evokers are reported unable to reach the skill for the servomotors and the activation device, because they cannot use Azerite traits (EU forum, 2025).

The walkthrough linked is The Lazy Goldmaker's of 2019. It explains the skill needed for each part, but dates from Battle for Azeroth and is written from a seller's point of view:

  • 150 to learn the schematic
  • 225, with the goggles, for the salvaged parts
  • 250, with the elixir, for the activation device

No Wowhead guide walks through the craft: its Battle for Azeroth Engineering guide (a player's guide) only names the schematic's source and the materials in one paragraph, so it is not linked.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
