Guides Wowhead: Talanji's Expedition Reputation Guide · wow.gg: Captured Swampstalker

• Battle for Azeroth world quests unlocked on a Horde character: the Zandalar introduction and Uniting Zandalar, of which Friendly with Talanji's Expedition is one part · about 5 h
• Exalted with Talanji's Expedition, 42,000 reputation from Neutral (39,000 from Friendly). The Nazmir story gives the first part; after it Nazmir world quests (75 each), the faction's emissary (1,500 for four world quests on the days it is up), the Nazmir faction assault (500) and the occasional mission-table reward · about 15 h over 3 weeks
• 90,000 gold

In all: about 20 h of play, spread over 3 weeks, 90,000 gold, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Horde only: Talanji's Expedition is a Horde faction. Every source gives 90,000 gold at Exalted, the standing it is sold at; whether a reputation discount lowers that was not checked in the game. Lija also sells the Expedition Bloodswarmer for 12,500 gold at Exalted.

The coordinates are Wowhead's tooltip position and the wiki's; Wowhead's guide and wow.gg give 39.2, 79.4. wow.gg says the mount reached Lija's stock in patch 8.2, which fits the 2019 news of 'gold-sink reputation mounts' listed under Wowhead's guide.

Boosts the guides name:

• Contract: Talanji's Expedition, an Inscription item: 10 extra reputation for every world quest in Kul Tiras and Zandalar, usable from Friendly
• the Darkmoon Faire's 10% buffs
• the World Quest Bonus Event: 50% more
• the Golden Beetle: 250 reputation; 100 Seafarer's Dubloons from the Island Expedition vendor, handed to Krag'wa the Huge at Nazmir 75, 56

Wowhead's guide was last updated in 2020, and its level figures are from before the level squish. wow.gg's totals do not add up: its stage table sums to 38,500 while its text says 42,000 from Friendly. Wowhead's faction page, seen as a search excerpt, puts Exalted 42,000 above Neutral.

Not established: how much reputation the Nazmir story gives, and whether the standing is shared across the Warband.

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
