Notes and sources
Alliance only: the Proudmoore Admiralty is an Alliance reputation (Wowhead's faction page: Side: Alliance). Fray also sells the Admiralty Stallion at Exalted.
Two things the journal does not say. First the achievement: Wowhead's tooltip for the reins carries 'Required achievement: Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part Two' beside 'Requires Proudmoore Admiralty - Exalted'. The mount was added in patch 8.2 (wiki) together with that achievement, the same as the Stormsong Coastwatcher, whose notes found the same line. Whether the vendor still enforces it could not be established, so it is listed among the requirements as one a long-played character most likely already has.
Second the place: the journal names Tiragarde Sound, but she stands inside Boralus, and the coordinates are on the Boralus city map. Wowhead's tooltip has her at 67.4-67.6, 21.4-21.8 and Wowhead's guide at 67.5, 21.5; a 2018 comment gives 73.7, 25.0 for the same spot on the Tiragarde Sound map.
Price: 90,000 in every source read; the Admiralty Stallion's notes say the wiki's vendor table shows another figure for both of Fray's mounts. Those notes and the Stormsong Coastwatcher's also report, from Blizzard Watch, that patch 12.1.5, dated 13 October 2026, makes the Battle for Azeroth reputations warband-wide; until then Exalted is needed on the buying character.
Other reputation sources in Wowhead's guide:
- the Dented Coin: 250 reputation, handed to Cyrus Crestfall in the same office; bought for 100 Seafarer's Dubloons since patch 8.1
- mission-table rewards now and then
- the Darkmoon Faire's 10% buffs
- the closing quest of the Pride of Kul Tiras line (350)
Wowhead's guide was last updated in 2020 and speaks of level 120; the amounts are what was taken from it.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
