The Green Qiraji Resonating Crystal drops from the trash creatures of the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj (ten kinds of qiraji, anubisath and obsidian guards), from about one kill in eleven. The first to meet are the eight Anubisath Sentinels that stand in two packs before the first boss, The Prophet Skeram. The mount can be summoned only inside the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj.
Chance 53% per try, so about 2 tries on average — Worked out, not read as such. Wowhead's item page (read 2026-10-10) records 332,705 crystals in 3,740,865 loots over ten trash creatures (8.9% a kill), and 51,584 in 572,152 for the Anubisath Sentinel alone (9.02%). 53% is the chance over the eight Sentinels before the first boss (1 - (1 - 0.0902)^8); thirty trash kills give 94%. Getting there

- Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Caverns of Time*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The crystal comes from trash only, so it is not tied to a boss kill, which is why the lockout is given as none: a 2012 Wowhead comment describes killing the packs at the entrance, leaving, resetting the instance and going in again. That was not checked in the current patch; if it no longer works, the trash further in drops it at the same rate.
The wiki's two packs of four Sentinels give the eight kills counted here; an Obsidian Eradicator at the entrance, named in the same comment, would make it nine.
The Blue crystal drops from the same creatures (a 2012 Wowhead comment), and a 2020 comment reports blue, yellow and green in one run; the Red one is far rarer (1.0-1.6% a kill in the 2012 comment).
The mount is in the journal and counts for the collection, but it can be ridden only inside the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj and vanishes if the rider is attacked (wiki). The wiki lists level 30 for the raid and no key.
The entrance coordinates are worked out from the game's own table of instance entrances (world position -8230.4, 2005.3 on Kalimdor) with the zone map's bounds; no guide that was read gives them.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
