How to get it

Sold by Provisioner Mukra, the Service Medal Quartermaster in the Port of Zandalar, for 200 Honorbound Service Medals. The medals are the pay of the Horde's side of the Battle for Azeroth warfronts: the world quests in Arathi Highlands and Darkshore while the Horde holds the zone, the warfront quests, the faction assaults and the Honorbound's paragon caches.

Guide Wowhead: Service Medal Rewards from Warfronts

Before you go

  • 200 Honorbound Service Medals: 1 for each world quest in Arathi Highlands and Darkshore while the Horde holds the zone (by a comment about five a day), 5 for a finished faction assault, 20 in each Honorbound paragon cache, 15 for the quest of each warfront once a cycle, and 50 and 15 more for the Heroic Darkshore and Heroic Stromgarde quests · about 6 h over 3 weeks

In all: about 6 h of play, spread over 3 weeks, starting from nothing.

From Orgrimmar about 1.2 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Zuldazar*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The journal's cost of 200 is Honorbound Service Medals (wiki; Wowhead's guide), and its zone, Zuldazar, is the city of Dazar'alor. Provisioner Mukra stands in the Port of Zandalar: Wowhead's tooltip puts her at 51.2, 95.2, the wiki at 51.2, 95.0. The item asks for level 10 (wiki).

Wowhead's guide says the two Krolusks turn into each other across factions: an account that buys the Azureshell Krolusk from Provisioner Stoutforge in Boralus for 200 7th Legion Service Medals has the Rubyshell on its Horde characters (confirmed in the guide's comments of 2019), so it can be earned from the Alliance side as well.

The medals have been Warband-transferable since patch 11.0.0 (wiki), so the days needed divide by the number of Horde characters collecting. The warfront quests are the quicker source when a warfront can be got going: by a 2020 comment, one cycle of about 24 days pays 95 medals from the four warfront quests alone and over 430 with everything else. That comment's rate of about one and a half paragon caches a week (from assaults, the Honorbound emissary and the weekly island quest, in 2020) is not counted here.

World quests in the two zones are only up while the Horde holds the zone; how the cycle turns in 2026, and how often assaults come now, was not established. Wowhead's guide was last updated in 2020 and lacks the Heroic quests.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
