Guide Wowhead: Glory of the Dazar'alor Raider Achievement Guide

Before you go

  • Three players in the raid at the same moment. Snow Fun Allowed (Lady Jaina Proudmoore): the Frosty Snowmon is built from three snowflakes picked up from snow mounds in the first intermission, and a player can carry only one, so three players each collect one and then stand together by a barrel, which is blown up to melt the snowmon. De Lurker Be'loa (Stormwall Blockade): one player hauls on the rope at the fish pool by the docks for two minutes while the fight on the two ships goes on, which players report takes one on each ship and a third at the rope
  • A Singing Sunflower battle pet (from Hillsbrad Foothills) summoned by someone in the raid, to /praise while under the Brilliant Aura in the Opulence fight (Praise the Sunflower); the pet need not be one's own
  • Two Blingtrons set out by engineers before or during the High Tinker Mekkatorque fight (any two of the Blingtron 4000, 5000 and 7000): they duel, the Blingtron MK2 appears and has to be killed before Mekkatorque (I Got Next!)

Notes and sources

The nine achievements are the wiki's; which boss each belongs to and what it asks are from Wowhead's achievement guide and its author's comment:

  • Champions of the Light: Can I Get a Hek Hek Hek Yeah? (nine shinies stolen and carried to the Mysterious Trashpile, three from each kind of enemy)
  • Grong: Barrel of Monkeys (six barrels set down and smashed by his slam)
  • Jadefire Masters: Hidden Dragon (the hidden egg held until the monk breathes on it)
  • Opulence: Praise the Sunflower
  • Conclave of the Chosen: Walk the Dinosaur (one of the first raptors kept alive to the end)
  • King Rastakhan: We Got Spirit, How About You? (the phantoms kept alive to the end)
  • High Tinker Mekkatorque: I Got Next!
  • Stormwall Blockade: De Lurker Be'loa
  • Lady Jaina Proudmoore: Snow Fun Allowed

The Alliance meets the second and third bosses the other way round.

The difficulty wording was read on the first of them only ("on Normal Difficulty or higher") and is taken to hold for the rest, so Raid Finder does not count; Wowhead's page for Snow Fun Allowed also reads 'on Normal Difficulty or higher'. The achievement is account-wide, and progress is kept between visits. The time on the spot is an estimate for one full clear doing every achievement.

Each faction has its own way in: the Alliance from Boralus Harbor, the Horde from Zanchul. The coordinates are from the game's own entrance table, which names the zones around the two cities; converted to the city maps they are exactly the wiki's figures, given in the place names. The wiki lists no quest or other condition for entering.

Three of the requirements come from Wowhead's achievement guide: the three players, the Singing Sunflower and the Blingtrons. The guide (last updated 2020) was written for raids of that time, so its advice on raid size and which classes to bring is of then; only the mechanics were taken from it.

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
