How to get it

Sold for 5,000 Timewarped Badges by the Warlords of Draenor Timewalking vendors in Ashran: Tempra just outside the Hero's Rest Inn in Stormshield for the Alliance, Kronnus in western Warspear for the Horde. They are only there while Warlords of Draenor Timewalking is the active event.

Time there about 2 min a visit

Before you go

5,000 Timewarped Badges, earned in any Timewalking event: 10 per dungeon boss, 20 for the last boss and 10 for finishing, 20 per Timewalking raid boss and 50 for the last, plus 500 from the event's weekly quest (The Shimmering Crystal in the Draenor week; range 3-20 hours, depending on how many characters hand in that quest) · about 12 h

In all: about 12 h of play, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources

The journal's cost of 5,000 is Timewarped Badges: the wiki's pages for the mount and for both vendors list it at 5,000 badges, beside Beastlord's Irontusk at the same price. The wiki has each vendor present 'during the Warlords version of the event' only, so outside that week there is nobody to buy from.

Badges are marked as transferable within the Warband (wiki) and are earned in every Timewalking event, so they can be saved up in other weeks and spent when the Draenor week comes round. The wiki gives the weekly quests as 500 without saying whether that is once per character or per account, so the low end of the time range is not established.

Coordinates: the wiki has Kronnus at 42.8, 54.8 and Tempra at 37, 73. The places given are the points taken from Wowhead's tooltips for the two vendors for the Beastlord's Irontusk (42.4-43.0, 53.4-54.6 and 35.8-37.6, 71.0-72.6).

The mount is one item (167895) for both factions. Added in patch 8.1.5; the item asks for level 40 (wiki).

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
