How to get it

Reward of the achievement I'm On Island Time, added in patch 11.0.7: ten Battle for Azeroth achievements in Kul Tiras and Zandalar. Six are zone achievements, each a list of seven or eight more (every rare and every treasure of the zone and a handful of smaller feats): Hot Tropic (Zuldazar), Bwon Voyage (Nazmir), Dune Squad (Vol'dun), Sound Off (Tiragarde Sound), Songs of Storms (Stormsong Valley) and When the Drust Settles (Drustvar). The other four are Loremaster of Zandalar, Loremaster of Kul Tiras, Battle for Azeroth Explorer and Wide World of Quests. Progress counts for the whole account, and it takes characters of both factions: some parts can only be done as Alliance, others only as Horde.

Guide Wowhead: A Farewell to Arms Battle for Azeroth Meta-Achievement Guide

Before you go

  • A character of each faction with Battle for Azeroth opened and its world quests unlocked (Uniting Kul Tiras as Alliance, Uniting Zandalar as Horde: Friendly with the three zone factions). Only as Alliance: Loremaster of Kul Tiras, The Long Con, Let's Bee Friends, Deadliest Cache, Everything Old Is New Again. Only as Horde: Loremaster of Zandalar, Loa Expectations, Bow to Your Masters, Raptari Rider, Revenge is Best Served Speedily, A Most Efficient Apocalypse, Champion of the Vulpera, Adept Sandfisher, Scavenge like a Vulpera
  • Loremaster of Zandalar as Horde (the stories of Zuldazar, Nazmir and Vol'dun) and Loremaster of Kul Tiras as Alliance (Tiragarde Sound, Drustvar and Stormsong Valley) · about 18 h
  • The six zone achievements, all six zones explored (Battle for Azeroth Explorer) and Wide World of Quests. Each zone asks for every rare (Adventurer of the zone; Zuldazar alone has 23), every one-time treasure (14 in Zuldazar) and five or six smaller feats: lore books to read, loa to bow to, Jani's twelve trash piles, quest chains such as The Long Con and Deadliest Cache. Wide World of Quests is 100 different world quests in Kul Tiras and Zandalar; the Alliance and Horde versions of a quest count separately · about 30 h
  • The world quests some of those feats wait on, each of them up only now and then: Swab This! in Tiragarde Sound (for Bless the Rains Down in Freehold; an Alliance character that has not yet done the side quest Rodrigo's Revenge can use that instead), Getting Out of Hand in Nazmir, and as Horde Revenge of Krag'wa (finished in under 45 seconds) and Cancel the Blood Troll Apocalypse (under 30 seconds) in Nazmir, Sandfishing in Vol'dun for the five Sandworm Scales, Abandoned in the Burrows for ten Vulpera prisoners (the quests Ready to Riot and The Master Key have some too), and Vulpera for a Day, which is only offered during an Alliance assault on Vol'dun and also takes Battle for Azeroth Archaeology and an open dig site in Vol'dun · about 2 h over 4 weeks
  • Let's Bee Friends, as Alliance (part of Songs of Storms): kill Flowing Honey at Mildenhall Meadery in Stormsong Valley until an Annealed Honey Amulet drops, then do Ancel Mildenhall's daily quest Let's Bee Friends on seven days, which need not be in a row · about 1.5 h over 7 days
  • Kul Tiran Up the Dance Floor (part of Sound Off): two players /dance together on the dance floor of the Norwington Estate in Tiragarde Sound (50.5, 24.3); the level and faction of the second one do not matter · about 0.1 h

In all: about 51.6 h of play, spread over 4 weeks, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources

The mount comes with the achievement I'm On Island Time (wiki: 'Reward: Mount, Honeyback Hivemother'; Wowhead's guide: 'Completing I'm On Island Time grants the Honeyback Hivemother mount'); how it is delivered was not found. The place given above is a hub chosen for the route, as for Jani's Trashpile, not a place the mount is handed over: Captain Nightrunner by Boralus's Expedition Map and Captain Rez'okun at the Port of Zandalar, at the coordinates given for Jani's Trashpile.

The wiki lists it as a Warband mount added in patch 11.0.7 (17 December 2024), and the journal names no faction, so either side may ride it although part of the work is Alliance-only. It is not the Honeyback Harvester, the Alliance mount raised in the Honeyback Hive.

The whole of this achievement is also one of the eighteen that A Farewell to Arms asks for, and the two Loremasters count for War Stories there, so the work is shared with Jani's Trashpile. Several of the smaller achievements have been account-wide since patch 11.0.0 (wiki).

Time: the hours in the list add up to about 52 and are estimates throughout. The wait for the rare world quests is the long pole, and Vulpera for a Day the worst of them, since three things have to line up. Two players are needed for one step only, the dance, which is why two are given.

Wowhead's guide (by Neryssa, updated 2025) advises doing Swab This!, Sandfishing and Abandoned in the Burrows inside a raid group, so that the feat counts without the world quest being completed and lost. For Wide World of Quests it says that nothing in the game shows which quests have been counted, that the same quest in another zone counts again, and that Nazjatar, Mechagon and the N'Zoth assault zones do not count.

Not established: what level the world-quest unlock asks for now (the wiki's page for Uniting Kul Tiras shows level 60, which looks out of date). The wiki has The Long Con's last quest as a three-player group quest of the old level cap; nothing read says it still takes more than one player, and it is not counted in the players given.

Only the guide was read at Wowhead, not the achievement's own page or its comments, so nothing newer than the guide's date was checked beyond what was read for Jani's Trashpile in 2026 (a 2026 comment there reports the meta-achievement still being finished in Midnight). No guide to this mount alone was found.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
