Notes and sources

Alliance characters only. The wiki lists the same mount at the same price from:

Grunda Bronzewing, gryphon keeper in Hellfire Peninsula
Brunn Flamebeard, gryphon keeper in Shadowmoon Valley
Durgan Thunderbeak, gryphon keeper in Borean Tundra
Mei Francis in Dalaran

The wiki's page for the mount gives level 25 for the item (since patch 9.0.1); the Golden Gryphon sold beside it is recorded at level 10 since patch 11.0, so the 25 may be out of date. Not checked in the game.

Coordinates are the wiki's; Wowhead's tooltip for the vendor (NPC 43768) has him at 71.2-71.6, 72.2-72.6.

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
