Sold by Necrolord Sipe in Old Town, Stormwind City, for 1 Vicious Saddle. A saddle is earned in rated PvP while a season is running: wins at 1,000 rating (Combatant) or more fill the Season Rewards bar; the first full bar of a season gives that season's own vicious mount, and every full bar after it gives a Vicious Saddle.

- 1 Vicious Saddle: fill the bar a second time in the same season · about 20 h

Notes and sources
The journal still gives the original source, the Shadowlands Season 1 reward. That season is over, but the wiki's pages for the mount, for Necrolord Sipe and for the Vicious Saddle all list it among the mounts of earlier expansions he sells for one saddle, so it can still be earned.
Saddles can only be earned while a rated PvP season is running: Midnight Season 2 began on 18 August 2026, and the wiki listed it as ongoing later in 2026; its own mount is the Vicious Lightbloom Boar.
The points per win and the 2,400-point bar come from Wowhead's guide to the saddle mounts, last updated in 2020, and from warcraftmounts. Both still give 1,400 as the rating, which a hotfix of 5 May 2021 lowered to 1,000 (wiki), and neither says what a Solo Shuffle or Battleground Blitz win is worth, so the hours are rough: the Rated tab's bar shows the real progress. No guide is linked because the two that explain the saddle are out of date on the rating and the Wowhead one does not list this mount.
This is the Alliance mount (item 184014); the Horde one of the same name (item 184013) is a separate mount sold by Deathguard Netharian in the Valley of Strength in Orgrimmar. The item asks for level 45 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
