Sold by Deathguard Netharian, the Combatant Mount Quartermaster in the Valley of Strength, Orgrimmar, for 1 Vicious Saddle. A saddle is earned in rated PvP while a season is running: wins at 1,000 rating (Combatant) or more fill the Season Rewards bar; the first full bar of a season gives that season's own vicious mount, and every further full bar in the same season gives a Vicious Saddle.

- 1 Vicious Saddle: fill the Season Rewards bar a second time in the same season · about 20 h
In all: about 40 h of play, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources
Deathguard Netharian sells it for one Vicious Saddle; coordinates are the wiki's (42.0, 73.8), and wow.gg gives 42.0, 72.4. The journal still gives the original source, the Shadowlands Season 1 reward; that season is over, but the wiki's pages for the mount and for Deathguard Netharian both list it among the mounts he sells for one Vicious Saddle, so it can still be earned.
The saddle binds when picked up (wiki), so it goes to the character that fills the bar, and the vendor and this item are Horde ones, so that has to be a Horde character. This is the Horde mount (item 184013); the Alliance one of the same name (item 184014) is sold by Necrolord Sipe in Old Town, Stormwind City. The item asks for level 45 (wiki).
Saddles can only be earned while a rated PvP season is running: Midnight Season 2 began on 18 August 2026, and the wiki's page, last edited in 2026, lists it as ongoing; its own mount is the Vicious Lightbloom Boar. wow.gg says unspent progress is lost when the season ends, while a saddle in the bags keeps.
The win counts are a guide's, not Blizzard's (wow.gg's page for the Vicious War Raptor, which describes the same saddle and vendor but does not name this mount); the bar on the Rated tab of the PvP window shows the real progress. The original rating of 1,400 was lowered to 1,000 by a hotfix of 5 May 2021 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
