How to get it

Sold by Spindlenose, the Court of Night quartermaster in Hibernal Hollow, for 5,000 Reservoir Anima and 5 Grateful Offerings, to a Night Fae who is Revered with the Court of Night. The reputation and the offerings both come from the daily tasks that the Night Fae's Anima Conductor opens around Ardenweald.

Night Fae campaign chapter 1, then the first tier of the Anima Conductor in the Heart of the Forest (Flowing Tendrils: 1,000 Reservoir Anima, 1 Redeemed Soul and an hour of research), bought from Zayhad, The Builder and switched on at the conductor on the sanctum's lower level · about 1.5 h
Revered with the Court of Night: 21,000 reputation from the conductor's streams, each opened once a day for 25 Reservoir Anima. The first tier gives 1,000 a day: 500 for the Large Lunarlight Pod treasure at Glitterfall Basin (51.7, 32.4; run over five Lunarlight Buds nearby to open it) and 500 for the day's play at the Star Lake Amphitheater (Dapperdew, 41.5, 44.8; stream to Dreamsong Fenn). The second tier, Streaming Threads, adds 2,500 a day: 1,000 for an extra world quest at Tirna Vaal and 750 each for two daily quests at Hibernal Hollow; the third adds 500 for Valfir the Unrelenting · about 5 h over 3 weeks

Notes and sources

Spindlenose sells it for 5,000 Reservoir Anima and 5 Grateful Offerings: Wowhead's page for the item lists him and shows 'Requires Court of Night - Revered' and 'You must be a member of the Night Fae Covenant'; the wiki says the same. The journal and Wowhead's tooltip say only 'Covenant: Night Fae, Zone: Ardenweald'. He stands beside the daily quest givers: Wowhead's tooltip has him at 59.4 to 59.6, 52.8, the guide's /way 59.6, 52.8.

The Court of Night has been a Warband-wide reputation since patch 11.1.5 (Blizzard Watch, 2025), so the standing may already be there from another character, but the buyer has to be a Night Fae. Other covenants can earn the reputation, but only from the amphitheater's play and Valfir, and only when a Night Fae has started them (Wowhead's guide). The mount is normally usable only by the Night Fae; Renown 80 with the Night Fae makes it usable by the whole Warband (wiki).

Sources disagree on the price: the reward table in Wowhead's Court of Night guide still has the mount at 3,500 anima, but its comments (2020 to 2023), the wiki and Wowhead's sold-by list all say 5,000.

They also disagree on who may buy: two comments on that guide (2021, 2023) say anyone with the reputation can buy from Spindlenose, while a 2021 comment on the item's page is from a player Exalted with the Court of Night who could not buy this mount for not being Night Fae, which agrees with the tooltip. This guide follows the tooltip.

How many streams a day: the Court of Night guide (2021) says one stream a day until streams are reinforced, while the later conductor guide (also 2021) says every stream the tier offers can be opened each day; the 21 days given here follow the later guide. After ten uses of the conductor a stream can be reinforced, which keeps it open for good (wiki, guide); a stream otherwise lasts 24 hours. A 2021 commenter reached Exalted with the first tier alone. The second tier costs 5,000 Reservoir Anima by the notes for the Armored Bonehoof Tauralus; its Redeemed Soul cost was not found.

The confidence is medium because every amount is from guides of 2021. Early on the reputation did not show in the reputation pane until Teendynneetll in Hibernal Hollow was spoken to; a hotfix of December 2020 fixed that (comments). The Umbral Scythehorn is sold by the same vendor on the same terms. The item binds when picked up.
