Given to a Night Fae character on reaching Renown 39 with the covenant: the mount item is put in the bags, wherever the Renown was earned. Elwyn, the Night Fae Renown Quartermaster in the Heart of the Forest, also lists it from Renown 39, for 100 Reservoir Anima and 40 Grateful Offerings.

Before you go
- Night Fae Renown 39. Once the covenant's first chapter is done, Renown comes a level at a time from covenant callings, the weekly world boss, dungeon and raid bosses, Torghast, PvP wins and the two weekly quests (1,000 anima for the sanctum, Shaping Fate in Korthia), up to the cap of 80; the covenant campaign pays Renown too but no longer has to be played for it. An account that has had a covenant at Renown 80 can buy the Broker Mark of Distinction from Au'Dara in Oribos for 500 gold, which sets the current covenant's Renown to 60 · about 6 h over 3 days
In all: about 6 h of play, spread over 3 days, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources
Only a Night Fae is given the mount, at Renown 39. The journal and Wowhead's tooltip say only 'Covenant: Night Fae, Zone: Ardenweald'; the item's tooltip on Wowhead adds 'Requires Renown 39'. It is the Night Fae counterpart of the Armored Plaguerot Tauralus and the Gravestone Battle Gargon.
Older sources have it bought: Wowhead's Night Fae renown guide (updated 2021) still words Renown 39 as 'available for purchase from Renown Quartermaster'.
On live servers it is granted:
- the wiki's renown table says of Renown 39 'You will be granted this mount' (dated 2021)
- a 2021 comment had it arrive on patch day with only 34 Grateful Offerings in hand
- the best-rated comment (2021) says it 'goes in to your bags after you complete Renown level 39'
- a reply found the vendor's copy unavailable because the mount was already in the bags
- a 2022 comment and two 2022 replies say the same
The wiki says a lost one can be bought again from Elwyn for 100 Reservoir Anima and 40 Grateful Offerings, which is the listing Wowhead's sold-by tab showed in 2026 (100 of currency 1813 and 40 of currency 1885, NPC 174914); the place given above is hers in case it has to be bought. This guide lists the other covenants' Renown 39 mounts at 50 Grateful Offerings; this one is 40 on both Wowhead and the wiki.
Elwyn stands inside the Heart of the Forest, which has its own map; a 2020 Wowhead comment gives 60.1, 36.0 in the sanctum's coordinates and 46.4, 50.8 in Ardenweald's. The place given above is the sanctum on the Ardenweald map, as for the Shadeleaf Runestag and the Autumnal Wilderling from the same vendor.
A character belongs to one covenant at a time, and covenant renown is per character (Blizzard Watch, as given for the Shadeleaf Runestag). The mount is normally usable only by Night Fae characters; Renown 80 with the Night Fae makes it usable by every character of the Warband (wiki).
Whether a character lifted straight to Renown 60 by the Broker Mark of Distinction is handed the Renown 39 mount was not established. A 2021 commenter who had bought the Broker Mark (then to Renown 40) describes two weeks of callings, world bosses and weekly quests after it. Wowhead's catch-up guide warns that no source of catch-up Renown is fully reliable and names the weekly world boss as the most consistent; it predates Midnight, and how quickly Renown comes today was not measured.
The item binds when picked up. The newest comment on the item is from 2022.
