Notes and sources
Su Zettai, the Renown Quartermaster in the Seat of the Primus, sells it for 5,000 Reservoir Anima at Renown 23. The journal files it as a drop and, like Wowhead's tooltip, says only 'Covenant: Necrolord, Zone: Maldraxxus'. The other sources agree:
- the wiki's page for the mount (edited 2025) says it 'can be purchased for 5,000' Reservoir Anima from Su Zettai in the Seat of the Primus at Renown 23
- the wiki's page for her (edited 2023) lists it at Renown 23 for 5,000 Reservoir Anima
- the Necrolord renown table has rank 23 as 'Mount: Plaguerot Tauralus. This mount will become available for purchase from the Renown Quartermaster'
- Wowhead's page for the item, as read in 2026, has Su Zettai, Renown Quartermaster (creature 172176), alone in its sold-by list at 5,000 Reservoir Anima, and shows Renown 23
Unlike the armoured version, which is granted at Renown 39, nothing read says this one is handed over on reaching the rank; it has to be bought. Covenant renown is per character (Blizzard Watch, 2025, as given for the Shadeleaf Runestag), so the buyer must be a Necrolord at Renown 23. The mount is normally usable only by Necrolords; Renown 80 with the Necrolords makes it usable by every character of the Warband (wiki). How fast renown comes today was not found in anything read.
Where she stands: the only comment on Wowhead's page for the item (2020, from the beta, with a price of 2,000) gives her place as 52.21, 40.74 inside the Seat of the Primus and 50.68, 71.38 in Maldraxxus coordinates, which is the place given above. It is the spot worked out for her for the Armored Plaguerot Tauralus: Wowhead's tooltip position on the Seat of the Primus map converted to Maldraxxus coordinates with the game's map tables. The wiki gives 52.69, 41.14 on the sanctum's map, on the east side of the main hall.
