Reward of The Third Fall of Kel'Thuzad, the last quest of the Necrolord covenant campaign: a scenario at the House of Rituals, taken from and handed in to Baroness Draka. The campaign's final chapter needs Renown 22 with the Necrolords.
Time there about 20 min a visit
Before you go
- The Necrolord campaign from Loyal to the Primus to Assault on the House of Rituals: about 119 quest steps in eight chapters by the wiki's count (wow.gg counts nine chapters) · about 6 h
- Necrolord Renown 22 for the last chapter (earlier chapters open at 5, 8, 11, 13, 17 and 20). The campaign supplies part of it; the rest comes from callings, dungeon and raid bosses, PvP, Torghast and the weekly Replenish the Reservoir, with no weekly cap. An account that has had a covenant at Renown 80 can buy the Broker Mark of Distinction from Au'Dara in Oribos for 500 gold, which sets the current covenant's Renown to 60 · about 3 h
In all: about 9 h of play, starting from nothing.
Getting there

- Take the flight master to Maldraxxus
- Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Oribos*
- Take the flight master to Maldraxxus
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The journal files it as a drop; it is a quest reward (wiki, quest 59020). The quest is taken from Baroness Draka at the House of Rituals (Maldraxxus 62.2, 41.0) and handed in to her inside the Seat of the Primus; the place given above is that hand-in spot on the Maldraxxus map, worked out from the game's map tables. The time on the spot is an estimate for the scenario Assault on the House of Rituals, which has seven stages and a final one.
A character belongs to one covenant at a time, so the quest is done on a Necrolord. The mount is normally usable only by Necrolord members; Renown 80 with the Necrolords makes it usable by every character of the Warband (wiki).
Sources disagree on the last chapter's Renown: the wiki's renown page and wow.gg (updated 2026) say 22, the wiki's campaign page says 21 (and 4, 7, 10, 12, 16 and 19 for the earlier chapters). Whether any way of skipping the campaign on a later character still gives the mount was not established.
