How to get it

Sold by Archivist Janeera, the Avowed Quartermaster at the Halls of Atonement in Revendreth, for 2,000 Sinstone Fragments to a member of the Venthyr covenant who is Exalted with The Avowed. Both the reputation and the fragments come from the open-world Halls of Atonement and its dungeon: kill the Inquisitors there by buying their sinstones from Archivist Fane with fragments, and absolve Fugitive Souls.

Guide Wowhead: The Avowed Reputation Guide - Shadowlands Halls of Atonement Faction

  • The Final Atonement storyline as far as its twelfth quest, Halls of Atonement: Your Absolution, which has the Lord Chamberlain killed in the Halls of Atonement dungeon. To Friendly from creatures in the open-world Halls of Atonement (3 each, 5 for elites); to Honored from the dungeon's creatures (10 each, bosses 15 to 25); from there on only Inquisitors (50), High Inquisitors (100) and Grand Inquisitors (200), each called out with its own sinstone, and Fugitive Souls led to an Avowed Ritualist (50 each) · about 15 h

Notes and sources

Only a Venthyr can buy it. Wowhead's tooltip for the item reads 'Requires you to be a part of the Venthyr Covenant and Exalted with The Avowed'; the journal names only the covenant. Wowhead's sold-by list has two sellers, each at 2,000 Sinstone Fragments (currency 1816): Archivist Janeera in Revendreth and Archivist Leonara in Oribos (46.6, 77.6, The Enclave).

The Avowed became a Warband reputation in patch 11.1.5 (wiki), so the standing can be earned on any character, but the buyer has to be Venthyr. The wiki adds that the mount can normally be ridden only by Venthyr characters, and by the whole Warband once Venthyr renown 80 is reached.

How the reputation is earned (Wowhead's guide): Archivist Fane (73, 52) trades 100 fragments for a random Inquisitor's sinstone and 250 for a High Inquisitor's. Inquisitors and High Inquisitors sometimes drop a Grand Inquisitor's Sinstone Fragment, and ten of those buy a Grand Inquisitor's sinstone. A sinstone only works on the Inquisitor it names. The storyline itself gives about 2,000 reputation.

The round used for the fast way, from a 2021 comment:

  • the four High Inquisitors at 72, 53; 70, 52; 71, 42 and 75, 44
  • the two Grand Inquisitors at 64.5, 52.5 and 70, 45
  • a bell at 72, 49 that gives a 20-minute reputation bonus for 30 of currency 1820

Another comment names the six as Nicu, Magda, Aurica, Radu, Gabi and Dacian; which stands where is not known. The place given above: Wowhead's tooltip 73.0, 52.0; the guide 73.1, 52.1.

Medium confidence: the hours rest on reports from 2021, when the creatures were at the players' level; nothing newer was found, and the amounts were not checked against the game after the Warband change. Icy Veins also has a guide to this reputation, which was not read.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
