How to get it

Reward of A New Pack, the last of seven daily quests from the Impressionable Gorger Spawn in the Endmire. The spawn has to be won first: it is a chance drop from the Worldedge Gorger, a rare in the Banewood that is called up by using an Enticing Anima at the Worldedge Braziers, and it only drops for a character that has done the side quest The Endmire.

Chance 5.36% once a day, so about 19 tries on average — Wowhead: Impressionable Gorger Spawn in 1,097 of 20,469 recorded loots of the Worldedge Gorger (5.36%; read 2026-10-11). The count takes in characters that had not done The Endmire and could not get it, so the chance for one that has is higher by an amount nobody has measured. wow.gg's '15 to 25%' is that guide's own figure with no source. Once the spawn has dropped, the mount itself is certain

Before you go

  • The Endmire done: a side quest from Tessle the Snitch (65.1, 63.6) for five Infused Rubies, offered early in Revendreth's story, after Invitation of the Master. Without it the gorger never drops the spawn · about 0.5 h
  • An Enticing Anima for each summon: a drop from the devourers of Revendreth, the mites and thirstlurkers along the river by the braziers among them. Only one can be carried, and one is enough although there are two braziers · about 0.5 h
  • After the drop, seven daily quests from the spawn in the Endmire (59.0, 57.2), one a day: Nipping at the Undergrowth (18 Endmire Vineroot), Vineroot on the Menu (35), Vineroot Will Not Do (10 Infused Endmire Fruit from the Endmire's mites), Hungry Hungry Gorger (16), Standing Toe To Toe (3 End Gorgers or Dread Gorgers killed), Ready for More (7) and A New Pack (an Unbidden Worldeater killed), which gives the mount · about 0.6 h over 7 days

In all: about 1.6 h of play, spread over 7 days, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Worldedge Braziers, the Banewood (the Worldedge Gorger)
Revendreth · 38.6, 72.1
/way Revendreth 38.6 72.1
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 4 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Oribos*
  2. Take the flight master to Revendreth
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 4 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Oribos*
  2. Take the flight master to Revendreth

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The journal names only the last quest; the luck is all in the first step. The Worldedge Gorger gives loot once a day per character: a 2024 Wowhead comment names the hidden daily quest that tracks the kill (58259), and another 2024 one says 'You can summon and kill the rare once a day' and put eight characters on it. About 19 daily kills are expected at 5.36%, fewer if the true chance for an eligible character is higher.

The braziers are at /way 38.58 72.15 (comments), at the end of the water overlooking the cliff south-west of the Wanecrypt Hill flight point. Wowhead's tooltip pins the gorger at 38.8, 71.4 to 39.0, 72.8; the wiki has no coordinates. The place given above is the brazier, where the repeated visits are.

Comments warn that the gorger can throw a character off that cliff, and that it can vanish for a moment and come back; a 2026 one saw it gone for good after five minutes.

The spawn does not stay in the bags: it runs off to the Endmire, north of Darkhaven, and the seven dailies afterwards are done at the spawn there; they are counted in the requirements. A character can check whether it has the spawn with /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(61188)) (2024 comment); the same check with 60480 shows whether The Endmire is done. wow.gg's guide gives the dailies under names that differ from the game's, so the wiki's names are used.

No covenant is asked for by any source read. The item binds when picked up (Wowhead's tooltip, wiki). Wowhead has a news post, How to get the Loyal Gorger Mount in Revendreth, which was not read.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
