Phalynx of Humility

Rare find in the Penitence of Purity, a treasure at Purity's Pinnacle in Bastion that only a Kyrian whose Anima Conductor is streaming there can see and open, once a day. Channel the conductor in Elysian Hold to Purity's Pinnacle (25 anima a day), find the Burden of Penitence by the temple building next to the chest and click it, then cross the portico and the pool court to the chest within two minutes without touching the ground effects. The Kyrian Renown Quartermaster, Adjutant Galos in Elysian Hold, also sells the mount for 5,000 Reservoir Anima and 100 Grateful Offerings.

• The first tier of the Anima Conductor in Elysian Hold (Flowing Tendrils: 1,000 Reservoir Anima, 1 Redeemed Soul and an hour of research), bought from Haephus, Sanctum Upgrades, on the north edge of the hold (43, 53) and switched on at the conductor in its south-west corner (38, 68). After that 25 Reservoir Anima for each day the stream to Purity's Pinnacle is opened, until the stream is reinforced · about 1.75 h

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

About 104 daily openings are expected at 0.96%; commenters report anything from the first try to 150 without it, and one who kept count got it at about 100 (2021).

Besides the drop there is a certain way, and which of the two the Planner should plan for is still to be decided, as for the Horrid Dredwing. Adjutant Galos, Renown Quartermaster in the Sanctum of Binding in Elysian Hold (62.7, 30.8 on Elysian Hold's map), sells the mount for 5,000 Reservoir Anima and 100 Grateful Offerings, and only inside the Kyrian sanctum (Wowhead's sold-by list: 5,000 of currency 1813 and 100 of currency 1885; the wiki's table for Galos has it with no Renown asked).

The chest pays toward that copy: it always gives 2 Grateful Offerings (Wowhead's two guides, a 2021 comment), so 50 days of openings buy the mount if it has not dropped by then. Other sources make it sooner (Wowhead's Grateful Offering guide, updated 2022):

• 2 from Wingflayer the Cruel, the first tier's other stream (Temple of Courage)
• 2 from each other covenant's enemy champion, which anyone who tags it may loot once a day whoever summoned it (up to 8 a day from the four)
• 3 from each second-tier quest
• 3 from the third tier's foes, for the summoner

Grateful Offerings have been transferable within the Warband since patch 11.0 (wiki), so other characters can add to them.

Names: the conductor guide calls the stream Purity's Pinnacle; 2020 commenters and Warcraft Mounts say to choose the Temple of Purity. It is the same stream, and the chest is at Purity's Pinnacle. How many streams a day: the guide's reminder says every stream can be opened once a day (the change of patch 9.1.5), while its second-tier section still says one a day. After ten days of use a stream can be reinforced, which keeps it open for good (wiki, comments).

The puzzle (guide): the Burden of Penitence sits in one of several spots, inside either small building beside the covered portico or outside in the water. It puts a two-minute debuff of the same name on the player, 65% slower. Touching a ground effect sends the player back to the start, and it can be tried again and again. Warcraft Mounts and a 2021 comment say that being mounted makes the ground effects harmless; not checked. A treasure that does not show on the map can still be opened if the stream is running (2020 comment).

The guide supposes that the third tier's foes, Eliminator Sotiros and Larionrider Orstus at the Citadel of Loyalty, drop the mount too, on 'limited information'; Wowhead's page lists the chest as the only thing it comes from, so they are not counted here.

The mount is normally usable only by Kyrian characters; Renown 80 with the Kyrian makes it usable by every character of the Warband (wiki). A character belongs to one covenant at a time. The item binds when picked up.

Medium confidence because the guides are of 2021 and 2022 and the newest comment on the mount's page is of 2023; nothing read says how the conductor behaves in Midnight.
