Sold by Drakma, the wind rider keeper on the Orgrimmar Skyway, for 100 gold. Nothing else is required.

• 100 gold

In all: 100 gold, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal.

Horde characters only (the wiki's item box: 'Horde Only'); no reputation is asked. The price is 100 gold by the journal, by Wowhead's tooltip for the item (Vendor Drakma, Zone Orgrimmar, Cost 100), by the wiki's page on the mount and by the wiki's list of what Drakma sells (page edited 2026: the four swift wind riders at 100, the three plain ones at 50).

The wiki lists the same mount at the same price from:

• Bana Wildmane, wind rider keeper in Hellfire Peninsula
• Dama Wildmane, wind rider keeper in Shadowmoon Valley
• Tohfo Skyhoof, wind rider keeper in Borean Tundra
• Mei Francis, the exotic mount vendor in Dalaran

The coordinates are the ones read from Wowhead's tooltip for Drakma (NPC 44918: 48.0, 58.4-58.6) for the Tawny Wind Rider, not asked for again; the wiki's page on her gives 48.2, 59 on the Orgrimmar Skyway.

The wiki gives two levels for the item, 10 in its box and 27 in its patch 9.0.1 note, with Apprentice Riding since that patch (it was level 70 and Artisan Riding before); which level holds now was not checked. Drakma's list on the wiki still shows the old levels (60 and 70). The item binds when picked up. Wowhead's page for this mount was not read.

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
