Made at the Abominable Stitching Table in the Butchers Block, on the east side of the Seat of the Primus, by a Necrolord whose Abominable Stitching sanctum upgrade is at its fifth and last rank. The recipe takes 50 Malleable Flesh, 5 Superior Parts and 3,500 Reservoir Anima; no source names a separate recipe item to find.
Time there about 5 min a visit
Before you go
- 47,500 Reservoir Anima: 44,000 for the five ranks of Abominable Stitching bought from Arkadia Moa (1,500, 5,000, 10,000, 12,500 and 15,000) and 3,500 for the craft. Anima comes from Shadowlands world quests, world bosses, raids, Korthia and Zereth Mortis · about 20 h over 2 weeks
- 150 Redeemed Souls for the five ranks (6, 12, 22, 40 and 70): Return Lost Souls from Osbourne Black in the sanctum, 20 souls freed in the Maw for 20 Redeemed Souls, once a week; after it Return More Lost Souls, the same for 20 more, can be repeated while fewer than 100 souls are held · about 2.5 h
- 85 hours of research for the five ranks, one after another (1, 12, 24, 24 and 24 hours) · 4 days
- 5 Superior Parts: from the weekly quests of the constructs built at the table; more constructs give more quests · about 2 h over 2 weeks
- 50 Malleable Flesh: drops from most creatures in the Shadowlands · about 1 h
In all: about 25.5 h of play, spread over 2 weeks, starting from nothing.

- Take the flight master to Maldraxxus
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Only a Necrolord can make it; a 2021 Wowhead comment says every character on the account can ride it afterwards.
That the fifth rank is needed rests on a 2021 Wowhead comment ("rank 5 ... 5 superior parts, 50 malleable flesh and 3500 anima") and on two guides of 2026 (Conquest Capped, wow.gg); the wiki and Wowhead's recipe (spell 338052) list only the flesh and the parts, not the rank or the anima.
The anima is the long part and the weakest figure: no source gives an hourly rate, and world quests and raids are limited by the day or week, hence the 14 days. Return More Lost Souls is not offered while 100 or more Redeemed Souls are held, so the souls have to be spent on ranks as they come.
How many Superior Parts a week the construct quests give was not established; the wiki also lists them as a possible reward of four covenant adventures. Wowhead comments of 2022 and 2024 report the recipe showing insufficient ingredients until another recipe is clicked and then this one again.
The coordinates are the table's on the Maldraxxus map (Conquest Capped, /way 54.9 68.8); Rathan, who runs the feature, stands at 55.1, 68.75 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
