Dead Blanchy appears every hour or two on the river at the north end of the Endmire in Revendreth and gallops along it until she runs into a player; she then stands for five minutes. She wants six gifts in a fixed order, one a day: 8 Handfuls of Oats, a Grooming Brush, 4 Sturdy Horseshoes, a Bucket of Clean Water, a Comfortable Saddle Blanket and 3 Dredhollow Apples. The sixth gift gives Blanchy's Reins.
Time there about 1 h a visit

Before you go
- The six gifts, which can all be gathered beforehand: 8 Handfuls of Oats from the sacks at Saldean's Farm in Westfall (around 56.3, 30.1); the Grooming Brush from Snickersnee in Darkhaven (63.4, 61.7); 4 Sturdy Horseshoes picked up from the roads around Darkhaven; the Empty Water Bucket beside Snickersnee (63.3, 61.6), filled at any water in Ardenweald or Bastion; the Comfortable Saddle Blanket from Ta'tru at the Night Market (51.1, 78.8), bartered for crafting materials that change each week (30 of a Shadowlands meat or 10 of a Shadowlands herb); 3 Dredhollow Apples from Mims at the Hole in the Wall (40.9, 46.8) · about 0.75 h
- The first five gifts handed over on five earlier days: one gift a day, counted from the daily reset; the days need not follow one another. Each visit means waiting for her to appear · about 5 h over 5 days
In all: about 5.8 h of play, spread over 5 days, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources
Dead Blanchy is a hand-in over six days, not a drop: nothing is rolled (the journal's 'NPC: Dead Blanchy'). Any number of players can click her while she stands, each on their own progress, grouped or not (Wowhead comments).
She outruns a mount, so stand in her path on the river; a neigh is heard when she appears. She stamps at four minutes and leaves at five. Coordinates: 63.2, 43.0 (Wowhead's tooltip, Warcraft Secrets, wow.gg) and 62.8, 43.6 (tooltip); the wiki has 63, 43.
The wait for her: every source says 1 to 2 hours. One player in 2026 timed six waits between 1 h 29 and 1 h 56, and two (2025, 2026) report over two hours, so the time on the spot is an estimate for one visit and can double.
The gifts must be given in order, and items can be gathered ahead; a 2026 player notes that she need not be met first. A script in a 2025 comment reads the daily flag: /run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(62107)).
The blanket's price is the one disagreement. The wiki, both guides and the older comments have Ta'tru asking a material that changes weekly (Warcraft Secrets lists 30 Aethereal Meat, Creeping Crawler Meat, Phantasmal Haunch or Shadowy Shank, or 10 Marrowroot, Rising Glory, Vigil's Torch or Widowbloom). One 2026 comment (voted down) says he now takes only Sinstone Fragments, which would mean the Halls of Atonement side story first; wow.gg, updated 2026, still gives the barter.
Apples cost about 2.5 gold each (wow.gg). 2020 comments say the oats asked for level 55-56 then; wow.gg lists no level beyond 10. Since patch 9.1 the mount flies. Wowhead has no guide of its own for it.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
