Before you go

  • Four players in the raid at the same moment for This World is a Prism (Sylvanas Windrunner): four covenant prisms lie on the chains crossed in the second stage, a character can carry only one and drops it on going offline, and in the third stage each carrier stands on the matching covenant symbol on one of the four platforms to light the Focusing Prism before she is defeated

Getting there

  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Oribos*
  2. Jump into the Maw from the Ring of Transference
  3. Ride the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 2.9 min of travel

  2. Jump into the Maw from the Ring of Transference
  3. Ride the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The achievements, by boss (criteria and method from Wowhead's guide, 2021):

  • The Tarragrue: Name A Better Duo, I'll Wait. During Hungering Mist, Buttons is picked up and carried to Moriaz, who stands on the far side of the room; the carrier needs the anima power Oddly Intangible Key.
  • The Eye of the Jailer: Eye Wish You Were Here. In the third phase the Scavenged S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera is taken from the Lost Field Kit and a picture taken of the raid and the boss after it casts Immediate Extermination.
  • The Nine: To the Nines. After Skyja joins, nine stacks of Fragments of Destiny are brought onto one player to form a Shard of Destiny.
  • Remnant of Ner'zhul: I Used to Bullseye Deeprun Rats Back Home. Three Orbs of Torment are thrown through both rings on the chains, the still one and the swinging one, each goal announced in chat.
  • Soulrender Dormazain: Tormentor's Tango. Everyone /taunts Garrosh before the pull and nobody is hit by Torment.
  • Painsmith Raznal: Whack-A-Soul. The lever on the left pillar before the boss's area is pulled, and the burning gibbets raised during the fight are killed.
  • Guardian of the First Ones: Knowledge is Power. Vazzaren the Seeker is moved into an Energy Core's Radiant Energy and then killed.
  • Fatescribe Roh-Kalo: Flawless Fate. Nobody is hit by Fate Fragments, Fated Conjunction or Call of Eternity.
  • Kel'Thuzad: Together Forever. Mr. Bigglesworth is clicked in three places (a room after The Tarragrue, the floor before Soulrender Dormazain and Kel'Thuzad's own room), then carried into the phylactery in the second stage and delivered there.
  • Sylvanas Windrunner: This World is a Prism.

Four players are the least for This World is a Prism by its own mechanics, and no other step read here takes several players by its mechanics. On the prisms the sources differ. Wowhead's guide and its 2021 comments say they must be channelled in the order they were picked up; later comments (2021, 2024) say the order does not matter. wow.gg (updated 2026) says each of the four players must belong to a different covenant; a 2021 comment says no covenant membership is needed to pick a prism up.

Comments also warn that the prism is a debuff which immunities such as Divine Shield and a druid's shapeshifting remove, and (2026) that on Normal the second stage can break if the players run ahead of the NPCs. The Instance Achievement Tracker addon is recommended by a comment and by Icy Veins (2025) for seeing whether an attempt counted.

The time on the spot is an estimate for one clear doing every achievement with a party that knows the steps; a 2021 comment gives about three hours for a raid of twenty at the gear of the time. The entrance is from the game's own table; wow.gg gives 70.1, 32.3 and says no quest is needed to enter. Flying is not possible in the Maw.

wow.gg has slightly different wordings for some criteria (for Kel'Thuzad, /pet on Mr. Bigglesworth three times) and says the bracer arrives by mail. Wowhead's page gives the criterion for the last achievement as 'Defeat Sylvanas Windrunner after activating the Focusing Prism in the Sanctum of Domination on Normal difficulty or higher', shows account-wide progress for the meta-achievement (15130) and says 12% of profiles have it.

Wowhead's guide was last updated in 2021 and describes the fights as they were then; wow.gg's 2026 list has the same ten achievements.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
