How to get it

Sold by Spindlenose, the Court of Night quartermaster in Hibernal Hollow, for 5,000 Reservoir Anima and 5 Grateful Offerings to a character that is Revered with the Court of Night. The reputation comes from the daily tasks that the Night Fae's Anima Conductor opens around Ardenweald; a character of another covenant can earn it only from the two fights a Night Fae starts, the play at the Star Lake Amphitheater and Valfir the Unrelenting.

Before you go

  • A way to earn the reputation without waiting on other players, which only a Night Fae has: Night Fae campaign chapter 1, then the first tier of the Anima Conductor in the Heart of the Forest (Flowing Tendrils: 1,000 Reservoir Anima, 1 Redeemed Soul and an hour of research). A character of another covenant builds nothing but depends on a Night Fae to start the two fights · about 1.5 h
  • Revered with the Court of Night: 21,000 reputation. For a Night Fae the first tier gives 1,000 a day: 500 for the Large Lunarlight Pod treasure at Glitterfall Basin (51.7, 32.4; run over five Lunarlight Buds nearby to open it) and 500 for the day's play at the Star Lake Amphitheater (41.5, 44.8; stream to Dreamsong Fenn). The second tier adds 2,500 a day (1,000 for an extra world quest at Tirna Vaal, 750 each for two daily quests at Hibernal Hollow) and the third 500 for Valfir the Unrelenting. A character of another covenant gets 500 for the play and 500 for Valfir, once a day each, when a Night Fae has started the play and stripped Valfir's guard · about 5 h over 3 weeks
  • 5 Grateful Offerings: 2 a day from each of the Night Fae conductor's first-tier tasks, and 2 from any covenant's enemy champion (the amphitheater's play is the Night Fae one) for whoever tags it, once a day each
  • 5,000 Reservoir Anima (Shadowlands world quests, raids, world bosses, rares of Zereth Mortis) · about 1.7 h

In all: about 8.2 h of play, spread over 3 weeks, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources

Who may buy it is where the sources disagree, and this guide follows the game's own text. The journal names only the vendor and the zone. Wowhead's tooltip for the item (2026) shows 'Requires Court of Night - Revered' and no covenant line, where the tooltip of the Winterborn Runestag, sold beside it, says 'You must be a member of the Night Fae Covenant'. A well-rated 2020 comment on the item's page says 'you do NOT have to be a Night Fae' to buy and learn it; its writer earned the reputation on a character of another covenant from Valfir and the amphitheater rare. Against that, Wowhead's Court of Night guide says only Night Fae may buy the faction's items, and wow.gg (updated 2026) says the mount 'cannot be purchased while in another covenant'. Not tested since 2021.

Spindlenose stands in the open in Hibernal Hollow, not in the Night Fae sanctum, so any character can reach him (2021 comment; the Grateful Offering guide says the same of another of his wares). Coordinates are Wowhead's tooltip for him (59.4 to 59.6, 52.8) and the guides' /way 59.6, 52.8.

The price: the reward table in the Court of Night guide still has the mount at 3,500 anima; its comments (2020 to 2023), the wiki and Wowhead's sold-by list all say 5,000. The standing: Revered, by the tooltip, the wiki and both Wowhead guides.

The Court of Night has been a Warband reputation since patch 11.1.5 (wiki), and Grateful Offerings have been transferable within the Warband since patch 11.0 (wiki), so a Night Fae character can earn both for a buyer of another covenant.

How many streams a day: the Court of Night guide (2021) says one stream a day until streams are reinforced, while Wowhead's Kyrian conductor guide (2021) says every stream a tier offers can be opened each day, the change of patch 9.1.5. The 21 days assume both first-tier streams each day. Each stream costs 25 Reservoir Anima a day and lasts 24 hours (guide, 2021 comment); after ten uses of the conductor a stream can be reinforced for good (wiki).

For other covenants: the play can be fought any number of times but pays reputation and loot once a day. Valfir has a dodge effect that only a Night Fae streaming to Tirna Scithe can strip, though anyone may then kill him for the 500 (guide; 2023 comment). Darkmoon Faire's reputation buffs add 10% (guide).

The guide's 'Tirna Naal' is Tirna Vaal (2024 comment). Early on the reputation did not show in the reputation pane; a hotfix of December 2020 fixed that (comments). The third guide linked, the Night Fae conductor guide, was read for the Winterborn Runestag and not opened again for this mount.

Medium confidence because every amount is from guides of 2021 and 2022 and the question of who may buy rests on the tooltip and one comment. The item binds when picked up.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
