Slime Serpent

Look it up on WowheadHow to get it
A secret in the Plaguefall dungeon. Enter alone on Heroic or Mythic and defeat all four bosses (Globgrog, Doctor Ickus, Domina Venomblade, Margrave Stradama) with no other player inside at any time. Then take the teleporter back to the surface: a Curious Slime Serpent now sits in the slime by the Broken Tower, near where Domina Venomblade was fought. Petting it gives the mount.
Inside Plaguefall, a dungeon (Heroic or Mythic)
Time there about 35 min a visit
Before you go
- The dungeon set to Heroic or Mythic and entered alone: the serpent does not appear if a second player was inside the dungeon at any time during the run
Getting there
/way Maldraxxus 59.5 65.1 - Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Oribos*
- Take the flight master to Maldraxxus
- Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Oribos*
- Take the flight master to Maldraxxus
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
No item teaches it: the mount is learned on petting the serpent, so Wowhead has no item tooltip or loot count for it, and Wowhead was not consulted. The wiki and Warcraft Secrets agree on every step; neither names Normal difficulty.
The trash can be skipped, but the first three bosses have to die to open the door to Margrave Stradama (wiki). The wiki also describes a way for a second character to get the serpent from the same run: one player clears up to Stradama and leaves, then a party member sharing the instance kills Stradama alone and comes back up. That was not tested.
It is one of the secrets counted by the Mind-Seeker achievement. The time on the spot is an estimate for the four bosses. The entrance is from the game's own table.
