Tazavesh Gearglider

Reward of the achievement Fake It 'Til You Make It: defeat So'leah, the last boss of the dungeon Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, on Mythic difficulty with the dungeon's hard mode switched on. Hard mode is switched on at the start of a fresh Mythic run: use the Passably-Forged Credentials, a necklace earned on an earlier run, to take the shape of a broker, speak to Fe'tajid on the docks by the entrance, who improves the disguise, and then to the gate guard, who lets the party into Customs. Keep the disguise on until So'leah is dead.

• The way to Tazavesh: the quest chain from Host Ta'rela at the inn in Oribos (67.5, 50.3), from The Al'ley Cat of Oribos to The Veiled Market. It ends with the barge ride to Tazavesh and leaves a flight path there from Oribos · about 0.5 h
• Passably-Forged Credentials, from one earlier run of the dungeon on Heroic or Mythic: after the first boss, Zo'phex, go down the stairs and buy the Fraudulent Credentials necklace from the Questionable Trader in the corner; carry on to Myza's Oasis (three trades for Xy'darid's goods give the password), and inside, with the necklace on, speak to Au'manal, who swaps it for the Passably-Forged Credentials. Then leave and reset the dungeon · about 0.4 h

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Only one player needs the necklace: the rest of the party are turned into brokers and get the achievement too (comments of 2021 and 2022). The necklace can be earned on Heroic and used on Mythic the same day, so there is no week to wait (comments of 2024 and 2026). Mythic itself is once a week for each character, as for the Cartel Master's Gearglider. The quest Tazavesh: A Hard Bargain, which Au'manal offers, is not needed (a 2022 comment); it pays Perfectly-Forged Credentials, which work the same by the wiki.

The achievement's text on Wowhead: 'Defeat So'leah in Tazavesh, the Veiled Market after being caught using forged credentials on Mythic Difficulty.'

The state of this achievement changed twice in a year. In The War Within's third season (patch 11.2, from August 2025) the dungeon was in the Mythic+ rotation, scaled to level 80, and its Mythic version was hard mode for everyone with no credentials. That is what Wowhead's guide (updated 2025) and Method's (2025) describe, and commenters say the achievement could not be earned the old way then.

Since Midnight's first season began on 17 March 2026 the dungeon is back at level 60, and after a fix on 19 March 2026 Fe'tajid again hands out the Passable Disguise and the achievement is given (Wowhead comments on the achievement from 2026; a 2026 Blizzard forum post). So the activation is again the one of 2021, which is why Icy Veins' 2021 guide is linked first. Wowhead's guide is linked for the hard-mode boss changes, but its section on activating hard mode ('no longer requires any attunement') is out of date.

The run with the credentials has to be fresh: Fe'tajid leaves if the customs officials are spoken to first (Blizzard Watch). A 2026 comment adds that on Mythic, after the necklace was earned on Heroic, Zo'phex would not talk and was simply killed, and the run went on as usual.

Keeping the disguise through So'leah is the safe reading. The 2026 forum post did not get the achievement on a character that had put its own necklace back by clicking it, which removes the disguise, and got it on a second character that left the disguise alone. A 2023 reply had said the necklace need not stay on once hard mode is active. Blizzard's support article on missing this achievement (updated 2026) says only that the reports are not a bug.

A known trouble in patch 12.0: at The Grand Menagerie the next boss fails to appear if the first two are killed too fast, and the fight is stuck (comments of 2026). Commenters kill the first two slowly, one with the toy Whole-Body Shrinka' to lower damage, and one got past it only on another character.

With hard mode on, Ta'piks on the docks took parties straight to the last three bosses and the achievement was still given (comments of 2022); not confirmed since.

No step was found that by its own mechanics needs several players at the same moment, so no group size is given. Two hard-mode changes read that way in the guides: the Unstable Goods of Mailroom Mayhem, which root their carrier and are passed from player to player (Wowhead's guide: they can be thrown at oneself), and So'leah's five relics, which must all be struck by one Hyperlight Jolt. But commenters from 2023 to 2026 report the achievement from runs by a single character (one of 2026: about 17 minutes for the dungeon, two for So'leah). The time on the spot is an estimate from the comments.

The entrance and the first two requirements are the same as for the Cartel Master's Gearglider, whose door was worked out from the game's table of instance entrances: 88.7, 43.6 on the outdoor Tazavesh map, reached by the flight from Oribos rather than by flying. A second door on K'aresh served the dungeon in The War Within's third season; whether it still does was not established. Places inside, by the wiki: the Questionable Trader at 69, 44 and Au'manal at 40, 28 on the dungeon's map.

So'leah also drops the Cartel Master's Gearglider, a different mount.
