Sold by Brendormi, the Field Primal Researcher at the Temporal Conflux in the Primalist Future, for 150 Essence of the Storm and 3,000 Elemental Overflow together. The Essence comes only from the Storm's Fury event that is held there every five hours: close the four elemental portals, then kill the boss in the middle.

Guide Wowhead: Storm's Fury Event in Dragonflight - Objectives and Rewards
Before you go
- Storm Warning from Zawarudu at the top of the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken (63.6, 48.0), which sends the character through the portal to Soridormi and her quest Resisting the Storm; done once, it opens the event for the whole Warband · about 0.3 h
- 150 Essence of the Storm from the Storm's Fury event: about 6 from the boss, 9 more in the Glowing Primalist Cache of the week's first completion and 3 in the Primalist Cache of each later one, and 10 from the quest Coalesced Storm Remnants, whose starting item drops from the event's creatures. That is 25 for the first event of a week and 9 for each one after it, about 15 events in all · about 5 h over 2 weeks
- 3,000 Elemental Overflow: about 130 from each Storm's Fury boss and more from the event's creatures, the rest from the Primal Storms of the Dragon Isles, Dragonflight caches and the rares and treasures of the Forbidden Reach. It moves between the characters of a Warband · about 1 h
In all: about 6.3 h of play, spread over 2 weeks, starting from nothing.

- Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Valdrakken*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The journal shows the cost only as '150 3,000': Wowhead's sold-by list (2026) has one seller, Brendormi (creature 199425), at 150 of item 202039, Essence of the Storm, and 3,000 of currency 2118, Elemental Overflow, both together. Wowhead's guide and the wiki's table for Brendormi agree, and the guide says there are 'no requirements to purchase these rewards aside from the required currencies'.
The Essence of the Storm is an item that binds when picked up (wiki), so it has to be earned on the character that buys; the Elemental Overflow has been Warband-transferable since patch 11.0.0 (wiki). The mount is not sold for gold, and the item binds when picked up, cannot be traded and asks for level 10 (wiki); added in patch 10.0.5.
The place given is the portal on the Thaldraszus map (Wowhead's guide: 59.8, 82.2; the wiki has 59.8, 82.3), because the Primalist Future is a map of its own outside the Dragon Isles continent. Brendormi stands on the platform near the portal, at 61.2, 47.0 there by Wowhead's guide (61.2, 46.8 on the wiki, 61.36, 46.90 in a 2023 comment).
The sources do not agree on the event's hours:
- the wiki: it 'runs for two hours every five hours'
- Wowhead's guide: it 'remains active for 5 hours or until completion before resetting'
- a 2023 comment: up for four hours with an hour's break
- wow.gg (updated 2026): two hours on and three off
The game shows it as a world quest on the Dragon Isles map while it is up.
On Coalesced Storm Remnants: Wowhead's guide calls it a weekly quest, wow.gg says once per character, and the 2023 commenter had it only once; without it the first event of a week gives 15 and the whole takes about two events more. The same commenter and another of 2023 tell of joining other groups whose event was still running for 6 more Essence from each boss; whether that still works was not established.
The 20 minutes on the spot are an estimate for one event at today's levels; the portals are taken faster with more players nearby (wiki, hotfix of January 2023). How busy the event is in 2026 was not established, nor was it confirmed in the game that it still runs, though Wowhead's guide (2026) and wow.gg (2026) describe it as current. The event's cold stacks a damaging debuff called Freezing; standing in the Temporal Conflux or by a campfire clears it.
wow.gg's page for this mount is not linked: it calls the second currency 'Elemental Energy' and the quest giver 'Zaqul', against Wowhead and the wiki.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
