Rare drop from So'leah, the last boss of the dungeon Tazavesh, the Veiled Market, on Heroic or Mythic difficulty. The dungeon is entered at the broker market of Tazavesh in the Shadowlands, reached by flight path from Oribos once a short quest chain there has opened it.
Chance 2.1% per try, so about 48 tries on average — Wowhead: 139 mounts in 6,621 recorded loots of So'leah (2.10%, read 2026-10-10), pooled over difficulties: 35 in 1,917 on Heroic (1.83%) and 102 in 4,704 on Mythic (2.17%). Blizzard never published a chance; wow.gg says 1-2%. Counted apart: the end-of-run chest of the keystone dungeon So'leah's Gambit, from the seasons it was in the Mythic+ rotation, with 136 in 14,051 and 152 in 11,705

Before you go
- The way to Tazavesh: the quest chain from Host Ta'rela at the inn in Oribos (67.5, 50.3), which is The Al'ley Cat of Oribos, Insider Trading and Things Best Kept Dark, Seeking Smugglers, Above My Station, Dead Drop, Coins for the Ferryman and The Veiled Market. It ends with the barge ride to Tazavesh and leaves a flight path there from Oribos · about 0.5 h
In all: about 0.5 h of play, starting from nothing.

- Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Oribos*
- Ride the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Both Heroic and Mythic drop it. At first the mount dropped on Mythic only, with no need for hard mode (Wowhead comments of 2021); since patch 9.2 it also drops on Heroic (comments from 2022 on; Wowhead's dungeon guide of 2025; wow.gg).
Heroic has had no lockout since patch 10.2.6 and can be reset and run again, within the game's limit of ten instances an hour (comments of 2024 and 2025); Mythic is once a week for each character. That is why no lockout is given here.
A run goes through the dungeon to So'leah (a 2024 commenter: a full clear with no skips); commenters put a Heroic run at 12 to 20 minutes. In her second phase she takes 99% less damage until her relics are struck with Hyperlight Jolts. Commenters who let the phase run its course report about 5 minutes since The War Within (17 to 30 before), and a monk's Touch of Death ends it at once (comments of 2023 to 2025). No covenant is needed (a 2025 comment).
The entrance is worked out from the game's own table of instance entrances, which puts the door at 88.7, 43.6 on the map of the outdoor Tazavesh, a few steps from the flight master's landing. No guide read gives coordinates for it, so it is the weak part here. The last stretch is the flight from Oribos, not flying. Whether the flight path serves the whole account once one character has opened it was not checked; a Wowhead comment quoted for the Patient Bufonid says it does.
A second door stood in the city of Tazavesh on K'aresh (36.3, 12.0 on that city's map) for The War Within's third season, when the dungeon was in the Mythic+ rotation as two halves, Streets of Wonder and So'leah's Gambit, and keystone runs of the second half dropped the mount too (Wowhead's guide of 2025; comments up to 2026). Whether that door still leads into the dungeon in Midnight, and on which difficulties, was not established; wow.gg's guide, updated in 2026, describes only the Oribos route.
Wowhead's count is per looting player, and two can drop on one kill (comments). Wowhead also lists the mount inside the Reins of the Quantum Courser (9 of 73 opened), an item that turns into one of a list of dungeon mounts (wow.gg); that route is not counted here.
So'leah also gives the Tazavesh Gearglider, the reward of the hard-mode achievement, which is a different mount. The item binds when picked up. Added in patch 9.1 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
