Xy Trustee's Gearglider

Reward of the hidden quest Someone Like Me, which Zo'turu at Shadow Point on K'aresh offers once the three Cartel Dead Drops inside the Manaforge Omega raid have been looted, on any difficulty including Raid Finder. A Dead Drop shows only to a character at Renown 8 with the Manaforge Vandals whose Warband has that cartel's Deal active (Deal: Cartel Ba, Deal: Cartel Zo, Deal: Cartel Om, contracts made by scribes), and only one Deal can be active in a week, so it takes three weekly visits to the raid.

• K'aresh opened and the Reshii Wraps earned: the Ghosts of K'aresh campaign, whose second quest opens the rift from Foundation Hall in Dornogal to Tazavesh and whose third chapter gives the wraps that the raid asks for at its door · about 3 h
• Renown 8 with the Manaforge Vandals, without which the Dead Drops do not show: 17,500 reputation from Renown 1 at 2,500 a level, earned only from the bosses and the four Horrors of the Forge inside Manaforge Omega (a full clear pays about 5,000 a week, first kill of the week only, any difficulty, shared across the warband) · about 2 h over 8 days
• The three Deals: Deal: Cartel Ba, Deal: Cartel Zo and Deal: Cartel Om. They are made with Khaz Algar Inscription by a scribe who is Renown 8 with the Vandals and has taken the techniques from Ba'choso at Shadow Point (quest A New Recipe!); each takes 1 Fresh Parchment, 25 Apricate Ink and 1 Manaforged Instrument, which drops from Forgeweaver Araz. The Deals are not bound, so ones made by a different scribe will do · about 1 h
• Three weekly visits to Manaforge Omega, one Deal used each week, looting that cartel's Dead Drop: Ba after Plexus Sentinel, at the right-hand translocator to the Forge Core; Zo on a pipe beside the first mana vent on the way to Forgeweaver Araz, who must still be alive; Om on a rock behind the building past Fractillus · about 1.5 h over 2 weeks

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

The journal and Wowhead's tooltip show only 'Source: [REDACTED]'. The mount sat unused in the game files from patch 9.1 (wiki) and was made a secret in patch 11.2, found by the WoW Secret Finding Discord in 2025. It counts for the Mind-Seeker achievement (wiki).

The place given is Zo'turu's, because he hands the mount over; the raid door is beside him, and the game's own table of entrances has no entry for Manaforge Omega. Wowhead's quest data gives level 70 for Someone Like Me, the wiki level 80; the quest also gives the Cartel Transmorpher toy.

Three weeks is the least. Only one Deal can be made a week; the Deal's tooltip reads 'You may only make a deal with one Cartel per week. This effect is shared across your Warband.' For some months a macro that used all three at once let players finish in one visit (Wowhead comments from 2025 to 2026; Warcraft Mounts' author did it in a day). Comments of 2026 say it stopped working and wasted the extra Deals, and a later one of 2026 confirms the week cannot be got round: not by clicking the buff off, not by a second Deal and not from a different character.

The Dead Drops are counted for the account: 2025 comments looted them on different characters and found the quest waiting, and the grey cypher item each one gives does not have to be kept. Where they are:

• Ba: 64, 46 on the raid map by the wiki, on the leftmost edge of the platform on the right fork between the Plexus Sentinel and the Forge Core ring; Plexus Sentinel has to be dead (Wowhead's guide)
• Zo: 36, 20 by the wiki, at the far end of a pipe in the first (north) mana-vent area; jump onto the pipe instead of taking the portal; Warcraft Secrets says the first three bosses must be dead for that area
• Om: 59, 11 by the wiki; a 2026 comment and Wowhead's guide say it can be reached by walking round Fractillus without killing him

The sources differ on what closes the Ba and Zo drops: the wiki and Wowhead's top comment say they cannot be reached once Forgeweaver Araz is dead in that lockout, Wowhead's guide says the two areas close on Normal and above once Fractillus is dead. Either way, loot them before going on. In Raid Finder a 2025 comment found Ba in the first wing and Zo and Om in the second, Monsters of the Sand.

Wowhead's top comment and the wiki's page for the mount print a macro that shows which drops are done (hidden quests 92080 Ba, 92079 Zo, 92081 Om).

Method words the renown differently (Renown 8 to craft the Deals); the wiki, Wowhead's guide and the comments have it as needed to see the drops as well. Whether Midnight changed the renown amounts was not established (see the Vandal's Gearglider). Wowhead's top comment, Method and Warcraft Mounts all say the Deals can be sold on the auction house, so a character that is not a scribe can come by them that way; that is a mention, not counted here. The reagents were checked only for Deal: Cartel Ba.
