Given to a Night Fae character on reaching Renown 45 with the covenant: the Ardenweald Wilderling Harness is put in the bags, wherever the Renown was earned. No vendor sells it.

Before you go
- Night Fae Renown 45. Once the covenant's first chapter is done, Renown comes a level at a time from covenant callings, the weekly world boss, dungeon and raid bosses, Torghast, PvP wins and the two weekly quests (1,000 anima for the sanctum, Shaping Fate in Korthia), up to the cap of 80; the covenant campaign pays Renown too but no longer has to be played for it. An account with a character at Renown 80 can have it buy the Broker Mark of Distinction from Au'Dara in Oribos, which sets a character's Renown to 60 · about 7 h over 3 days
In all: about 7 h of play, spread over 3 days, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources
The mount arrives with Renown 45 with the Night Fae, wherever that level is earned, so no place is given. The Night Fae sanctum, where the weekly quests are taken, is the Heart of the Forest in Ardenweald (48.4, 50.4, as given for the Autumnal Wilderling). The journal's 'Covenant: Night Fae, Zone: Ardenweald' names no source.

Wowhead's item page (2026) has no sold-by list. Two replies there (2022, 2024) tell of the harness arriving with a boss's loot on a character said to be well past Renown 45. That may be how a character lifted over the level is given it later; not established, and so it is not established either whether the Broker Mark of Distinction (straight to Renown 60) hands the mount over at once.
A character belongs to one covenant at a time. The mount is normally usable only by Night Fae; Renown 80 with the Night Fae makes it usable by every character of the Warband (wiki). A 2024 comment found the mount missing from the journal's list on other characters, which fits that restriction.
Wowhead's catch-up guide warns that no source of catch-up Renown is fully reliable and names the weekly world boss as the most consistent; it predates Midnight, and how quickly Renown comes today was not measured.
The item binds when picked up and asks for level 10 (wiki). Added in patch 9.1.0.
