Winter Wilderling

Sold as the Winter Wilderling Harness by Duchess Mynx, the Death's Advance quartermaster at Keeper's Respite in Korthia, for 1,000 Stygia. She sells it to a Night Fae who is Exalted with Death's Advance, once the account has the achievement On the Offensive: four of the nine achievements of the covenant assaults in the Maw.

• Chains of Domination to the end of its second chapter, Maw Walkers, which opens Korthia, the Death's Advance and the covenant assaults; the assaults start to appear once A Unified Effort is picked up from Bolvar in Korthia · about 3.5 h
• The achievement On the Offensive, account-wide: four of the nine covenant assault achievements. An assault runs in the Maw twice a week, led by one covenant at a time. United Front asks for all four covenants' assaults; several of the others can be done in one visit to the right assault (ten Mawsworn Caches at the Necrolords' for Up For Grabs, ten Rift Hidden Caches at the Night Fae's for Jailer's Personal Stash, tea served to each Venthyr at theirs for Tea for the Troubled), some only when a certain assault quest is up · about 4 h over 2 weeks
• Exalted with Death's Advance: 42,000 reputation at about 6,000 a week, from Korthia's daily quests (125 each, three to five a day, sometimes with a token for 175 more), the weekly Shaping Fate (750), the two covenant assaults (350 each) and the Maw's weekly events and quests (Tormentors of Torghast, Containing the Helsworn, Helsworn Battle Plans) · about 32 h over 7 weeks
• 1,000 Stygia: 200 in the War Chest of every covenant assault, and from Maw activities and Korthia's creatures and rares along the way

In all: about 39.5 h of play, spread over 7 weeks, starting from nothing.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Sold by Duchess Mynx at Keeper's Respite for 1,000 Stygia, to a Night Fae who is Exalted with Death's Advance and has the assault meta achievement On the Offensive (Wowhead's tooltip: 'Requires Exalted with Death's Advance and the completion of the assault meta achievement On the Offensive'; the wiki's page for the Winter Wilderling Harness, edited 2025). The journal leaves out the reputation and the currency. Added in patch 9.1.0.

It is the Night Fae's one of four mounts sold on the same terms by the same vendor: the Venthyr's is the Pale Gravewing, the Necrolords' the Battlefield Swarmer and the Kyrian's the Battle-Hardened Aquilon. What follows on the achievement and the reputation is taken from the notes for the first two and was not checked again for this mount.

On the Offensive first asked for all nine assault achievements, then six from a hotfix of 24 September 2021 (wiki), and now four by Wowhead's tooltip for it, while the wiki's page still says six. A hotfix of 20 September 2021 made it account-wide, and the assaults are open to every covenant, so it can be earned on any character; the buyer has to be a Night Fae. Death's Advance has been a Warband-wide reputation since patch 11.1.5, and Stygia can be moved between a Warband's characters since then (Blizzard Watch, 2025, as cited for the Pale Gravewing).

The nine achievements:

• United Front
• A Sly Fox and The Zovaal Shuffle, at the Kyrian assault
• This Army and Up For Grabs, at the Necrolords'
• Krrprripripkraak's Heroes and Jailer's Personal Stash, at the Night Fae's
• Hoarder of Torghast and Tea for the Troubled, at the Venthyr's

The 14 days assume that the four covenants take turns in a fixed order, which was not confirmed. Confidence is medium because of that and because the reputation rests on amounts from 2021: nothing read says how fast it goes today, though the Pale Gravewing's notes cite a 2025 comment that bosses of the Sanctum of Domination raid give 125 reputation each on any difficulty, Sylvanas 625.

The Night Fae assault's own mount, the Wild Hunt Legsplitter, is a chance item in that assault's War Chest and a separate matter. The mount is normally usable only by Night Fae; Renown 80 with the Night Fae makes it usable by the whole Warband (wiki).

Coordinates are Wowhead's tooltip for Duchess Mynx (63.4, 23.4), the top level of Keeper's Respite; the wiki has 63.3, 23.3. No flying in Korthia. The item is unique and binds when picked up (wiki).

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
