How to get it

Rare drop from Reliwik the Defiant on the Vault of Secrets, the southern island of Korthia. The Flayedwing Transporter in the Necrolord camp at Keeper's Respite (60.8, 28.5) carries a character across. A large nest sits on the island's north-eastern edge; touching the Uncorrupted Razorwing Egg in it brings Reliwik down. He is not there every day: on a day without the nest, or with a nest whose egg never appears, there is nothing to kill.

Notes and sources

About 38 kills are expected, and he cannot be killed every day. Consumption, Kroke the Tormented, Reliwik the Defiant and Zelnithop share a daily rotation: usually two of the four are up on a given day, sometimes one, sometimes all four (Wowhead's Korthia rares guide, updated 2021). At about every other day that is two to three months of daily checks; the every-other-day figure is an estimate from that sentence, not a count.

The loot is once a day per character (hidden quest 64455; the wiki and a 2022 Wowhead comment). wow.gg's guide (updated 2026) says there is no daily kill limit; that contradicts both and is not followed.

Reading the nest, from the top-rated Wowhead comment (2021):

no nest: he will not come today
three eggs, one of which can be touched: he is up
two eggs and none to touch: he is on his timer or stuck, so wait about 15-20 minutes and leave if no egg appears

Other commenters waited 28, 40 and 75 minutes without an egg. The same comment describes an old fault that leaves the nest standing on a day he is not due. A macro in a 2023 comment (marked as updated for The War Within) tells from the map's daily quests whether he can come today.

In the current game, 2026 comments from the Midnight pre-patch report days with no nest and a nest with no egg; a later 2026 comment (patch 12.0.7) found nest, egg and rare as they should be.

wow.gg advises pulling him away from the cliff edge so the body does not fall out of reach.

The coordinates given are the wiki's for the nest; Wowhead's tooltip has Reliwik at 55.4-56.6, 66.4-67.6 and its guide at 56.2, 66.1. The transporter's far end is at 49.3, 63.9 (wiki), and the wiki calls the island 'typically accessible only via a Flayedwing Transporter'. What the transporter asks of a character today was not confirmed: see the third requirement. The time on the spot is the flight over, a wait for the egg and the kill.
