How to get it

Reward (the item Reins of the Wanderer) of the quest Maelie, The Wanderer from Tinybell at Keeper's Respite in Korthia, offered once Maelie has been found and reassured on six different days. On a day she has wandered off she stands somewhere in Korthia, in the same spot for everyone until the next daily reset; click her and she goes back to Tinybell.

Time there about 10 min a visit

Guides Wowhead: Maelie the Wanderer (the top comment gives each day's location, or says she is not out) · Warcraft Wiki: Maelie the Wanderer (known spots and a macro that shows the count) · wow.gg: Reins of the Wanderer

Before you go

  • Korthia opened: the first two chapters of the Chains of Domination campaign · about 3 h
  • Maelie found on six different days. She is not out every day: when she is, Tinybell calls out for help at Keeper's Respite and Maelie is not standing beside her. The finds need not be on days in a row · about 1 h over 2 weeks

In all: about 4 h of play, spread over 2 weeks, starting from nothing.

Getting there

Tinybell, Keeper's Respite (Maelie herself is somewhere else in Korthia each time)
Korthia · 60.7, 21.9
/way Korthia 60.7 21.9
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 1.8 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Oribos*
  2. Take the portal to Korthia within the Ring of Transference*
  3. Ride the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 1.8 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Pathfinder's Den to Oribos*
  2. Take the portal to Korthia within the Ring of Transference*
  3. Ride the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

Maelie's spot changes with the daily server restart and is the same in every region (wiki, Wowhead's top comment). Each day, look at Tinybell, then ride to wherever Maelie is; there is no flying in Korthia, and several of her spots are on ledges that take some climbing. After the sixth find Tinybell may show no marker; talk to her anyway (top comment).

The wiki lists eight known spots:

  • south-west of Mauler's Outlook: 43.2, 31.3
  • north of Seeker's Quorum: 49.3, 41.7
  • by the Dominated Protector at the Sanctuary of Guidance: 50.3, 22.9
  • by an Invasive Mawshroom south-west of Mauler's Outlook: 39.7, 34.9
  • the south-east corner of Seeker's Quorum: 61.3, 40.4
  • above the mouth of Gromit Hollow in the Windswept Aerie: 30.0, 55.6
  • north of Keeper's Respite: 59.8, 15.1
  • high above the Estuary of Awakening: 35, 61, by the path that starts at 40, 51

Comments add:

  • the great chain: 35.9, 46.5
  • a ledge looking into the Maw: 41.4, 27.8
  • a small island: 68, 32

wow.gg counts sixteen. On 11 October 2026 she was not out, and on 10 October she was at 43.2, 31.2 (Wowhead's top comment).

A macro in a much-liked Wowhead comment shows the count: the six finds are hidden quests 64293 to 64297 and 64299, and 64298 is the day's click. Clicking her sometimes brings up a 'you have dropped the key' error and still counts (2026 comments).

The time on the spot is an estimate for one day's visit. wow.gg's guide speaks of flying over the spawn points, which does not fit Korthia as the rest of this guide has it. Tinybell's coordinates are the wiki's (wow.gg has 60.6, 21.8). The journal says only 'Zone: Korthia'. The item is Unique, binds when picked up and asks for level 10 (wiki, Wowhead tooltip).

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
