Notes and sources
The journal's cost of 5,000 is Timewarped Badges (wiki). Aridormi stands in the Dalaran over the Broken Isles, not the one in Northrend.
Badges are transferable within the Warband (wiki) and are earned in every Timewalking event, so they can be saved up in other weeks and spent when the Legion week comes round. The wiki does not say whether the 500-badge quest is once per character or per account.
The item is called Favor of the Val'sharah Hippogryph and was added in patch 9.1.5 with the vendor (wiki). Aridormi sells a second mount, the Ur'zul Fleshripper Bridle, for the same price.
Coordinates: Wowhead's tooltip for Aridormi (NPC 180899) lists five spots between 68.4, 48.4 and 68.8, 49.6; the wiki has 68, 49. That she is absent outside the Legion week rests on the wiki's wording (present 'during the Legion Timewalking event') and on this guide's other Timewalking mounts; how often that week comes round was not looked up.
Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
