Notes and sources
The journal says only 'Protoform Synthesis'. The recipe is 400 Genesis Motes, 1 Tarachnid Lattice and 1 Bauble of Pure Innovation (wiki, Wowhead's guide and its item page); two Wowhead comments written on the test realm in 2022 give 450 motes and other reagents and were overtaken.
The schematic has a short respawn if another player has just taken it, and no flying is needed to reach it (2022 comments). Wowhead's guide says the mount-only rare reagents, the bauble among them, do not appear before Sopranian Understanding and the forge quests are done. The Tarachnid Lattice is not bound and can be sold on the auction house, a mention only.
Guides give two spots for the forge: Wowhead's guide 68.5, 30.1 for the Protoform Repository, 'by a cave' in the west of the Arrangement Index, and its comments 70.2, 28.6 or 70.0, 28.6 for the Servitor Interface itself; the second is used here, as for this guide's other Protoform mounts. The mount shares its research gate of about 10 days and the forge unlock with the other Protoform Synthesis mounts.
wow.gg's guide (updated 2026) gives the same spots and steps but garbles the item names ('Tarachnid Matrix', 'Orb of Pure Resourcefulness').
