Notes and sources
The vendor always hands the mount over for the two necklaces, and the mount is counted as certain only in that sense: the necklaces themselves are chance drops, so the wait can run past the estimate. The journal's cost line '1 1' is these two necklaces. No reputation or renown is listed for the purchase (wiki vendor table).
The necklaces need not come from the same difficulty, and each difficulty is its own weekly lockout. Wowhead's 25.52% was recorded while the raid was current. Wowhead comments of 2025 and 2026 say Mythic bosses now drop four items each (both necklaces came on a first Mythic run for one player), while the lower difficulties drop one item at best, so Mythic is the quickest; no measured figure for today's rates was found.
One raid visit for both bosses is about 25 minutes (estimate): Eranog, Terros, The Primal Council, Dathea.
