Notes and sources
The mount shares its 10-day research gate with the Deathrunner. Wowhead's Protoform Synthesis guide (updated 2025) covers the unlock, both forges and every schematic, and agrees with what is given here. It puts the mount forge's cave at 68.5, 30.1 and the Accelerated Bufonids on the Sepulcher of the First Ones island; a 2022 comment under it had the schematic from one at Hirukon's pool, so any Accelerated Bufonid will do.
The Bufonid Lattice comes from frog creatures (Gorkek, Accelerated Bufonids), rares more often.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
