Sold by Winaestra for 1 gold. Since Midnight she stands in Silvermoon City, west of the Royal Exchange flight point, and sells the classic hawkstriders there. A blood elf buys it outright; any other Horde race has to be Exalted with Silvermoon City first.

Notes and sources
The journal and the item's tooltip still name only the old place, Eversong Woods (Burning Crusade).
Wowhead's sold-by list has two Winaestras: the Midnight one in Silvermoon City (NPC 254366, titled Stable Master, 1 gold), which is the place given here, and the old Hawkstrider Breeder at Thuron's Livery, east of the old city (NPC 16264, Eversong Woods of the Burning Crusade, 61.0, 54.6, listed there at 90 silver).
Where the new one stands:
- a 2026 Wowhead comment says she sells the classic hawkstriders west of the Royal Exchange flight point, at 67.0, 66.0
- Wowhead's tooltip has 67.2, 66.0
- the wiki puts her in the Royal Exchange
The old Eversong Woods is reached through Zidormi at the Thalassian Pass (wiki: 53.8, 8.8, listed under the Eastern Plaguelands and the Ghostlands), who offers to show Eversong Woods and the Ghostlands as they were in the Burning Crusade.
The reputation rule is the wiki's (her page and the Silvermoon City faction page: blood elves by default, anyone else at Exalted), and guides updated in 2026 repeat it. None of them says whether the Midnight vendor asks the same, Wowhead's list of what the new Winaestra sells carries no reputation standing, and it was not confirmed in the game. The reputation time is zero on a blood elf and on a character that is already Exalted.
The wiki has the Silvermoon City Tabard with the quartermaster, Magistrix Nizara, by the flight master in the old Eversong Woods; whether it is also sold in Midnight's Silvermoon was not looked up. No guide is linked: wow.gg's (2026) lists the ways to the reputation but still sends the player to the old stables.
