How to get it

Reward of Good Fiery Boy, the last of six quests for Dark Iron dwarves in Shadowforge City (added in patch 9.2.5). Anvil-Thane Thurgaden starts the chain with The Anvil-Thane's Designs; at the end Kasea Angerforge has the character play fetch with her darkhound Grimhowl, feed him and fit his barding, and hands over Grimhowl's Face Axe, the item that teaches the mount.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The journal's zone means Shadowforge City, the Dark Iron dwarves' own copy of the city (the game's map 'Blackrock Depths - Dark Iron Dwarf Hub'), not the dungeon: the dungeon door in Blackrock Mountain (Searing Gorge 27.6, 72.4) does not lead there, so no instance is given. The racial Mole Machine lists Shadowforge City among its destinations with nothing to unlock, on a 30-minute cooldown (wiki).

Sources differ slightly on the prerequisite: the wiki and Wowhead's guide name the achievement Heritage of the Dark Iron, and Wowhead adds that a character race-changed into a Dark Iron dwarf does not qualify; Icy Veins' guide (2022) says the Heritage Armor quest line has to be completed. Gamepur was seen only as a search excerpt. Unlocking the Dark Iron dwarf allied race was not looked into.

The wiki says the mount can be ridden only by Dark Iron dwarves; Wowhead's guide says only Alliance characters can use it. Which is meant was not settled (the item's tooltip names neither), and this guide keeps the wiki's reading.

Wowhead's guide to the quest line dates from 2022 (patch 9.2.5); it gives the requirement, the starting point (Anvil-Thane Thurgaden by the Black Anvil) and the six quests in order, without walking through them.

The coordinates are Wowhead's for Kasea Angerforge on its Blackrock Depths map and were not checked against the in-game map of Shadowforge City. The time on the spot is an estimate for Good Fiery Boy itself.
