Reward of the achievement Glory of the Dragonflight Hero: 24 achievements spread over the eight launch dungeons of Dragonflight, all on Mythic difficulty.
Inside The eight Dragonflight launch dungeons, a dungeon (Mythic)
Guides True Endgame: Shellack · Wowhead: Glory of the Dragonflight Hero, achievement page (the top comments give a strategy for each achievement)
Before you go
- Four other players in The Nokhud Offensive for What Are The Chances...: the Raging Tempest's Lightning Strike lands once on each player, and five strikes have to hit one player at the same moment, so five players bring their strikes together on one of them. Weapons of the Maruukai there takes three players, each being able to hold only one of the three weapons
- The 24 achievements: one Mythic run of each of the eight dungeons, doing its three (Algeth'ar Academy: two, The Nokhud Offensive: four) on the way · about 6 h
In all: about 6 h of play, starting from nothing.
Getting there
/way Valdrakken 44.2 67.8 - Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Valdrakken*
- Fly the rest of the way
- Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Valdrakken*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The place given is the hub, not an entrance: the work is spread over eight dungeons, and the mount is granted when the last achievement completes. Comments on Wowhead's achievement page show it takes five players.
The dungeons and their achievements:
- Thaldraszus: Algeth'ar Academy, entrance 58.3 42.3 (See Me After Class, Duck, Duck, Spruce!)
- Thaldraszus: Halls of Infusion (Toxicity Strike Team, Go With the Flow, Hungry Hungry Hornswog)
- The Waking Shores: Ruby Life Pools (Are You My Broodmother?, Does Steam Do Fire Damage?, Dragon Kill Points)
- The Waking Shores: Neltharus (Ready for Raiding VIII, Knowledge is... Preserved?, Liquid Hot Magma)
- The Azure Span: Brackenhide Hollow (All Bark, All Bite, Growlbossify, So You Can Kill This in a Way That Matters...)
- The Azure Span: The Azure Vault (Icy What You Did There, You Must Be Made of Hide, The Cracked Crystal)
- Ohn'ahran Plains: The Nokhud Offensive (What Are The Chances..., Ohuna Incubation, Weapons of the Maruukai, Nokhud Deed Goes Unnoticed)
- Badlands, Eastern Kingdoms: Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr (It's a Trogg Eat Trogg World, Like Sands Through the Hourglass, No, You're Stunning!)
Entrance coordinates for the other seven dungeons are not given.
Squad Goals, Algeth'ar Academy's third achievement, is no longer part of this: Wowhead's criteria list for the achievement has 24 entries without it, and a 2026 comment there says patch 12.1 stopped asking for it. The wiki's page for the achievement still lists 25 with Squad Goals, though its dungeon achievement table leaves it out, and guides written before the patch count 25. The wiki files the achievement under account-wide achievements.
Like Sands Through the Hourglass now asks for 20 Eternity Orbs caught instead of every one (comments of 2023 and 2025). A 2024 comment warns that a boss ability can miss a character far above the dungeon's level, which matters for What Are The Chances... and Icy What You Did There, where the ability has to land.
Ruby Life Pools is one of the Mythic+ dungeons of Midnight Season 2 (Warcraft Tavern, 2026); whether that changes its ordinary Mythic version while the season runs is not established. Two things point that way without settling it: a 2026 Wowhead comment found Algeth'ar Academy, one of Midnight's Season 1 dungeons, "not currently available on Mythic difficulty", which a reply put down to its being a Midnight dungeon; and Wowhead's Season 2 overview has the season's dungeons on Mythic 0 with a daily lockout.
Guides: Wowhead has no guide to this achievement (the page links only its Dragonflight Mount Guide, a list); what it has are the top comments on the achievement page (2022), which give a strategy for each achievement and are linked second for that reason. True Endgame's guide (updated 2024) does the same and is written for the mount; it predates the removal of Squad Goals and was unsure what Dragonflight's fourth season had changed.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
