How to get it

Reward of the achievement Glory of the Vault Raider: earn the eight boss achievements of Vault of the Incarnates, one for each of the eight bosses, on Normal difficulty or higher.

Inside Vault of the Incarnates, a raid (Normal or higher)

Time there about 1 h 40 min a visit

Guides wow.gg: Raging Magmammoth · Wowhead: Glory of the Vault Raider, achievement page (a comment of November 2024 goes through all eight)

Before you go

  • Seven other players for Nothing But Air: the 8 Condensed Gales above Dathea's platform go one to a player, so eight players each collect one. The Ol Raszle Daszle takes two, one on each of the two lower platforms to pick up a Concentrated Storm Essence

Getting there

Vault of the Incarnates entrance, behind Tyrhold
Thaldraszus · 73.1, 55.6
/way Thaldraszus 73.1 55.6
From Stormwind (Alliance) about 1.9 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Wizard's Sanctum to Valdrakken*
  2. Fly the rest of the way
From Orgrimmar (Horde) about 1.9 min of travel
  1. Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Valdrakken*
  2. Fly the rest of the way

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.

Notes and sources

The eight achievements, in the wiki's boss order:

  • What Frozen Things Do (Eranog: find a Frozen Portal Stone and defeat a Burning Behemoth first)
  • Little Friends (Terros: hit the three Dormant Earth nodes in his chamber with Awakened Earth and defeat the three Energized Earth creatures that result)
  • The Lunker Below (The Primal Council: fish the Lurking Lunker out of the lava first)
  • I Was Saving That For Later (Sennarth: free five captives with Caustic Eruption and see them die)
  • Nothing But Air (Dathea, Ascended: collect 8 Condensed Gales)
  • The Power is MINE! (Kurog Grimtotem: destroy the Primal Avatar)
  • Incubation Extermination (Broodkeeper Diurna: hatch and defeat the lieutenants from each Primal element's eggs within 10 seconds of each other)
  • The Ol Raszle Daszle (Raszageth: gather two Concentrated Storm Essences and defeat the Concentrated Storm)

Each one's text says Normal difficulty or higher, so Raid Finder does not count. Wowhead's tooltip for the achievement lists the same eight and marks progress as account-wide.

What Frozen Things Do takes more than killing the Burning Behemoth: it is led through the lava pools until its stacks are gone, and what it turns into then is the creature to kill. On Raszageth the guides differ: the Wowhead comment says the achievement is lost if either essence carrier dies before the last phase, wow.gg that a carrier can be resurrected and keeps the essence.

Both guides show that it takes eight players. The time on the spot is an estimate for one full clear doing every achievement; a missed one can be tried again on another difficulty or after the weekly reset. Entrance coordinates are the wiki's (73.14, 55.60).

Guides: Wowhead has no walkthrough of this achievement; its Vault of the Incarnates Collectable Rewards Guide (2022) only repeats the eight achievement texts, and the nearest thing there is a 2024 comment on the achievement page that goes through all eight, linked second for that reason. wow.gg's guide (updated 2026) walks through each one, though it calls several things by other names than the game does (the Primal Council is its Council of Elements, the Condensed Gales its Wind Clusters).

Confidence in this entry: high. Looked up in 2026.
