Sold by Torallius the Pack Handler, the Elekk Breeder at the stables outside the main entrance of the Exodar, for 10 gold. A draenei buys it outright; any other Alliance race has to be Exalted with the Exodar first.

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
Alliance characters only. Torallius sells the Brown, Gray and Purple Elekks (1 gold) and the Great Blue, Great Green and Great Purple Elekks (10 gold) on the same terms, so the one reputation opens all six.
The journal leaves out the reputation, and so does the wiki's page for the mount. The wiki's page for Torallius states it: 'Only draenei can buy from Torallius by default; other characters must be exalted with the Exodar faction', with his refusal 'I'm not about to trust you with one of my Elekks until you prove your dedication and friendship to our people'. wow.gg (updated 2026) agrees.
The rule was not confirmed in the game, and whether a Lightforged draenei counts as a draenei for this vendor was not established. The hours for the reputation were not measured.
The vendor stands outdoors, so the journal files him under Azuremyst Isle. The coordinates are the wiki's on the Exodar's city map, 81.5, 52.0, which Wowhead's tooltip confirms. wow.gg's waypoint of 63.0, 29.4 on the Exodar map does not match.
wow.gg's remark that the mount needs Artisan Riding for full speed is out of date: the wiki has it at level 17 with Apprentice Riding since patch 9.0.1.
