How to get it

Sold by Tattukiaka in Iskaara for three rings, one of each: Thunderous Downburst Ring from The Raging Tempest in The Nokhud Offensive, Unstable Arcane Loop from Leymor in The Azure Vault and Platinum Star Band from Vexamus in Algeth'ar Academy. The rings drop on any difficulty; the third can also be taken as the reward of the quest The Algeth'ar Academy.

Notes and sources

The journal's cost line "1 1 1" is the three rings. The vendor always hands the mount over for them, but two of the rings are chance drops, so the wait can run past the estimate. The vendor takes the rings from the bags or the bank, higher item levels included (comments of 2022-2024), and no reputation or renown is listed for the purchase (wiki). Coordinates for Tattukiaka: Wowhead 14.0, 49.6; the wiki 14.04, 49.70.

The rings may come from any difficulty and need not match (wiki, Wowhead comments), and a 2024 comment had rings from different seasons accepted. The quest is the sure way to the third ring: the wiki lists Platinum Star Band among its reward choices and Wowhead's top comment (2022) says the same; wow.gg adds that the quest asks for the dungeon to be completed. It can be done once per character; whether a level 90 character is still offered it is not confirmed.

Wowhead's drop chances were recorded while the dungeons were current. For years a player alone got only a fraction of a boss's loot (a 2023 comment puts it near 5% a kill); a 2026 reply says the Azure Vault is now on the legacy loot table. The counts players give for its ring: 8 and 19 kills in 2025, none in over 30 kills in early 2026, just before that reply. One player in 2025 found Leymor dropping nothing at all over ten kills; a later 2025 reply and the 2026 comment have him dropping loot again.

Normal has no lockout: the dungeon can be reset and run again, up to ten instances an hour (wow.gg). The Raging Tempest is the second boss of The Nokhud Offensive but can be reached without the first (comments of 2023 and 2024); Leymor and Vexamus are first bosses. Follower Dungeons, a Normal run with computer-controlled companions, drop the rings too (2024 comments).

In February 2026 Algeth'ar Academy could only be entered on Normal, which a reply put down to its being in Midnight Season 1's dungeon pool, and the ring still dropped there; it is not in Season 2's pool (wiki). The dungeon entrances are from the game's own table.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
