Look it up on WowheadHow to get it
A dracthyr racial mount. Treysh, the quartermaster in Morqut Village on the Forbidden Reach, sells it for 80 gold to dracthyr, and to any other character that is Exalted with the Obsidian Warders (Alliance) or the Dark Talons (Horde). Dracthyr can also buy it from Tethalash at Weyrnrest in Valdrakken.

Before you go
- A dracthyr character, or Exalted with the Obsidian Warders (Alliance) or the Dark Talons (Horde) on another race: the Forbidden Reach's daily and weekly quests, world quests, rares and events · about 15 h over 3 weeks
- The Forbidden Reach opened at level 70: Hidden Legacies, which starts by itself on arriving in Valdrakken, then Return to the Reach and the quests after it (a later character can skip them at Kurazidaia in Valdrakken) · about 0.75 h
- 80 gold
In all: about 15.8 h of play, spread over 3 weeks, 80 gold, starting from nothing.
Getting there

- Fly the rest of the way
- Take the portal from Orgrimmar to Valdrakken*
- Fly the rest of the way
/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The journal gives neither the race nor the reputation. The wiki's pages for the mount and for Treysh (edited 2025) both say a non-dracthyr needs Exalted with the Obsidian Warders (Alliance) or the Dark Talons (Horde), and its page for Tethalash (edited 2026) says only dracthyr can buy from him in Valdrakken. So the place given is Treysh in Morqut Village; a dracthyr is better served in Valdrakken. Mounts are learned for the whole account, so on an account with any dracthyr the reputation is not needed at all.
Treysh: Wowhead's tooltip for the open-world NPC (200559, Quartermaster, level 70-90) has her at 35.4-35.6, 59.4; wow.gg's guide says about 45, 61, which does not fit and is not followed. The wiki lists a second Treysh (198429), who belongs to the dracthyr starting version of the zone. Tethalash's spot at Weyrnrest is 25.5, 33.6 (Wowhead's tooltip, as given for the Majestic Armored Vorquin); wow.gg has about 26, 34.
The time to Exalted on another race is the weak figure. wow.gg's page calls the mount "Armored Leyline Vorquin" and the Alliance faction "Obsidian Wardens"; it names no unlock for the Reach beyond the portal in Valdrakken, and whether Treysh sells before the Reach's opening quests are done is not established.
Added in patch 10.0.2; Treysh came to Morqut Village with 10.0.7 (wiki), and other races could buy from 10.0.7 (wow.gg). A ground mount; the item binds when picked up and asks for level 10 (wiki).
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
