Hatches from the Zenet Egg, which is looted from Zenet Avis, a rare ohuna that flies wide circles high above a hilltop west of Teerakai in the Ohn'ahran Plains. Fly close to pull her, kill her and loot the egg; after seven days in the bags it turns into the mount. She is back 2 to 8 hours after a kill.
Chance 49.01% once a day, so about 2 tries on average — Wowhead records 1,380 Zenet Eggs in 2,816 loots of Zenet Avis (item page and tooltip, read 2026-10-11). Players' comments say otherwise: nearly all report the egg from the first kill, for every member of a group, and call it a 100% drop. The egg is Unique, so the count may take in kills by characters that already held it or the mount, and the days around 30 November 2022 when a hotfix left rares without loot; neither was established. One loot a day for each character, as for the other rares of the Dragon Isles (a comment of December 2022 on that hotfix)

/way is for the TomTom addon. Travel times are estimates: flying at 55 yards a second in a straight
line and 30 seconds for a portal. A star marks a portal that needs a quest or other unlock done first.
Notes and sources
The journal names the egg as what drops the mount; the egg in turn drops from Zenet Avis (Wowhead, wiki). Coordinates are Wowhead's map pins for her (31.4, 63.8 and 31.6, 64.0); comments give 31.5, 64.0 and 31.4, 63.8 for the top of the rock, and she appears in mid-air there. A 2024 comment warns to pull her to safe ground before killing her, so the body can be reached.
The drop chance is the open point. Against Wowhead's 49% stand more than twenty comments of 2022-2024 with the egg at the first kill, and a few without: no egg in 2023 and in 2025 (a level 66 character), and a 2026 reply from a player with 18 kills and no egg, who does not say whether the mount was already known. One player who farmed her three times without an egg found the mount had been in the collection all along (2024).
She can be looted without having hit her by a member of the group that did (comments of 2022). No level is asked: the egg dropped for characters of level 60, 64 and 66 and for a level 20 trial character in Chromie Time (2024).
In 2026 three players wrote that the egg's tooltip stayed at "Duration: 7 days" for four or five days or jumped about; none of them came back to say whether it hatched on time.
When she is not up, a much-voted 2022 comment advises joining groups for the Plains through the group finder to land on a copy of the zone where she is; by 2024 there were few such groups, and a group for the world boss Strunraan served instead. mein-mmo.de (2023) suggests trying with War Mode switched the other way.
