Notes and sources

The journal's cost of 5,000 is Timewarped Badges (wiki: "sold by Xydan in Valdrakken for 5000 Timewarped Badge"). Buying both of Xydan's mounts takes 10,000 badges. Badges are earned in any Timewalking event, keep between events and can be moved within the Warband (wiki).

The item has been in the game's files since patch 10.2.0 (7 November 2023) and was made available with patch 12.0.7 (16 June 2026), when Dragonflight Timewalking and Xydan arrived (wiki).

The vendor's place, his title and the rule that he is only out during his own event's week are as given for the Liquid Hot Magma Slug: the wiki's 81.46, 47.21, a Wowhead comment and Method's 2026 statement for all Timewalking vendors. How often Dragonflight's week comes round was not found.
