How to get it

Sold by Saccratros, the Coveted Bauble Exchange in Loamm, for 400 Coveted Baubles. Spinsoa, beside him, gives one bauble for each Unearthed Fragrant Coin, and the coins come out of the reward caches of Zaralek Cavern's public events.

Time there about 2 min a visit

Guide wow.gg: Igneous Shalewing

Before you go

  • 400 Unearthed Fragrant Coins, traded one for one into Coveted Baubles with Spinsoa: from the Researcher's Gifts of the hourly event Researchers Under Fire (15 to 60 coins by how many of its 12 objectives are done) and from the pouches of the cavern's smaller events (3 to 9 coins each) · about 12 h over 10 days

In all: about 12 h of play, spread over 10 days, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources

The journal's "Cost: 400" is 400 Coveted Baubles (wiki; Wowhead's vendor data shows 400 and no reputation). No standing with the Loamm Niffen is asked (wow.gg). Coveted Baubles bind to the Warband while the coins bind when picked up (wiki), so coins gathered by several characters can be turned into baubles and pooled. Saccratros is at 55.8, 55.4 (Wowhead's tooltip); he also sells the Diamondshell pet (50 baubles) and the Subterranean Magmammoth (100).

How fast the coins come is thinly sourced. A 2023 Wowhead comment gives 60 coins for the event's best chest and 45 for the next and reckons about 8 completions for the mount. wow.gg (updated 2026) gives:

  • 15, 30, 45 and 60 coins for 3, 6, 9 and 12 objectives
  • 3-5 and 6-9 for the two pouches of the smaller events
  • 40-80 coins a day
  • one to two weeks of active play (two to three otherwise)

It also says the rewards have a weekly cap without giving it.

The wiki says a week's reward goes by the highest number of objectives completed, and by the notes for the Subterranean Magmammoth the gift comes on the first clear at a level and lesser Scrounged Goods on repeats. If so, the event alone gives 60 coins a week and the rest has to come from the smaller events, from other characters or from later weeks. Whether a week's gift is per character or for the Warband is not established.

Researchers Under Fire starts at half past every hour at the Ruins of Drekazera (47.4, 58.0) and runs for up to 25 minutes (wiki). wow.gg calls the pouches Jingling and Jangling Stained Pouch where the wiki has Clinking and Clanging Dirt-Covered Pouch. A 2023 comment under the mount on Wowhead lists waypoints for the smaller events.

Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
