Guides Wowhead: A World Awoken Dragonflight Meta-Achievement Guide - Taivan Mount · Wowhead: Loamm Niffen - Dragonflight Renown Reputation Guide
Before you go
- Embers of Neltharion: the patch 10.1 story, seven chapters (A Creche Divided, Sundered Legacy, Inherited Sin, A Flame, Extinguished, Breaking Ground, The Ancient Bargain, Inevitable Confrontation). It starts in the Forbidden Reach and carries on from the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken down into the cavern · about 4 h
- Renown 20 with the Loamm Niffen (There's No Place Like Loamm): 2,500 reputation a level, from the cavern's world quests, public events, rares, the weekly Researchers Under Fire event, the weekly quest A Worthy Ally: Loamm Niffen and sniffenseeking · about 12 h over 2 weeks
- The Smell of Money: 200 Unearthed Fragrant Coins from the cavern's public events (1 to 6 coins each, each once a day) and from Researchers Under Fire, half past every hour in the middle of the cavern (20 to 60 coins on the first completion of a week) · about 6 h over 5 days
- Sniffen Around: hand in five of the nine special finds from sniffenseeking digs (Liquid Art, Good Time Boy, Drawing a Blank, Incense Replay, Little Blank Book, Ruby in the Rough, Lucky Ducky, A Glass of Bubbly, Flask Manager). Digs are started with Myrrit in Loamm and each uses up a dig map; the special finds only turn up from Renown 9, and one shows as a quest mark on the map on entering a cave when it is there · about 3 h
- Adventurer of Zaralek Cavern: kill 10 of the cavern's 21 listed rares · about 1.5 h
- Treasures of Zaralek Cavern: loot the cavern's ten one-time treasures (Ancient Zaqali Chest, Blazing Shadowflame Chest, Bloody Body, Charred Egg, Chest of the Flights, Crystal-Encased Chest, Long-Lost Cache, Old Trunk, Seething Cache, Well-Chewed Chest) · about 1 h
- Explore Zaralek Cavern: uncover every area of the map; the Buried Vault counts on entering a hole in the ground at 54.0, 75.6 · about 0.2 h
In all: about 27.7 h of play, spread over 2 weeks, starting from nothing.

Notes and sources
The seven criteria are those of Wowhead's tooltip for the achievement (17785) and of the wiki. An eighth, Stones Can't Fly! (loot 2,000 Flightstones), could no longer be done once Flightstones went and was taken out in patch 11.0.5 (wiki; Wowhead comments of 2024); Wowhead's meta guide, last changed in 2025, still lists it. A 2025 comment calls the achievement still obtainable; nothing newer was found. The achievement is also one of the parts of A World Awoken, the Dragonflight meta-achievement.
The mount became the reward in patch 10.2.6, when the achievement also went account-wide (a 2024 Wowhead comment; the wiki dates account-wide to 11.0.0). Item 205206 is a leftover from the test realm: the reward is the spell itself. The wiki says There's No Place Like Loamm was replaced in patch 11.0.7 and has to be earned again; no source says whether a character already at Renown 20 gets it at once.
The times are the weak part: no source says how long Renown 20 takes today. Wowhead's renown guide dates from 2023; it gives 2,500 reputation a level, says sniffenseeking opens after the first chapter of the campaign and that from Renown 10 other characters of the account earn the reputation twice as fast. The wiki says it has been a Warband reputation since patch 11.0.0.
On sniffenseeking the wiki's page for Myrrit (2026) names two sources of dig maps: the Bartered Dig Map from Ponzo in Loamm and the Lost Dig Map in the Scentsational Niffen Treasures from Mimuup. The weekly quest Aiding the Accord: Sniffenseeking was removed in patch 10.2.6a.
On the treasures the sources differ: the wiki lists ten, while the meta guide gives waypoints for nine, without the Seething Cache (a treasure of that name gives the Seething Slug), and adds five mice beside the Old Trunk. It says the treasures have various requirements and points to a Wowhead comment for them, which was not read.
Loamm's place is Wowhead's (56.3, 55.6). Wowhead's Zaralek Cavern guide, which both guides lean on for the events and the digs, was not read.
Confidence in this entry: medium. Looked up in 2026.
